Armagh -  the Dalton end & St Brigid's end? Though the Athletic Grounds was there before St Brigid's Secondary School, so not sure what else it is or was known as - officially or locally.

The Dalton end and the Niall's crescent end.

Can't see Samcro beating Melon over 2 miles.

Footpad has now become my favourite horse in training, enjoyed watching that today.

Young Smith is Sarsfields. Watched him from the opposition dugout many times. The lad doesn't now how good he is.

MacRory football is fantastic, over 25 years since I left St Pats Armagh and I was fooking gutted when St Ronan's chinned us with a stoppage time goal in the semi. It was always serious stuff, I remember Br Ennis having us in training for the Rannafast  Cup in mid August before school was  back from Summer holidays.

I should know you Benny, seems you were at school the same time as me.

I played club and schools football from primary school onwards and thought i was fit enough. Mcrory training came as a shock, the fitness work was brutal but when i stuck at it i soon realised what fit was. My point is that colleges football can be the making of some lads.

Armagh somehow managed to let Fermanagh hang on for a draw.

Got a nice treble up today, samcro, presenting percy, altior. I'm kind of pinching myself at the minute.
Pity about apples jade or else i'd have collected on a 5 timer after presenting percy won!!

Un de seaux tomoorow, looks banjer material to me.

Need to get stuck into the rest of the races later.

Had Footpad at 8/1 from months back so that's the rest of the week paid for.

Can Douvan get back to his old self? In saying that i was very impressed by Altior's acceleration after the last fence in his last race.

William Henry ew in 3rd race.

Anyone else think Ballyhegan, the club of Noel Marley,Paul Mc Grane and Paddy Mc Keever, even being in the Junior Championship is a shame? I remember them beating the great Clan Na Gael team in a meaningless league fixture in the mid 70s,and there wasn't a cow milked in Ballyhegan for a month!

Ballyhegan have a very small pick,  we field on our own at underage and having subs is a luxury for us. In the late 80s/early 90s we could hardly field at senior level, so i think we're doing very well. We're lucky that we have a large number of lads coming through over the next few years, so hopefully we'll be giving the intermediate a rattle then.

Was it not Shane O'Neills and Carrickcruppen?
