i find it hard to believe that 3 omagh men and only one errigal man got suspended.

yet there was a mass brawl....

once again errigal use there power to get away with stuff.

could it be that teams fear omagh if they are at full strength ?

In other news, pope is Catholic.

I'd say if you asked any player would you like to be a professional GAA player, the vast majority would say yes please.

However, the GAA as an organisation must not go down that road, in my opinion, for reasons that have been done to death here.

Anyhow, my mantra is that players who represent their county are honoured to do so, but should be looked after and not be directly out of pocket because of their involvement.

Thus by all means pay gym membership, give them gear, help them with diet etc. But that's it.

tyrone county board have been doing this for year

Bit of freud there.   :(

Anyone want to fill us in on  Gallagher v McCann incident at Omagh today?

would not like to comment fully on it - but gallagher deserves 3 months for his actions. He may have been sent of harshly in some peoples eyes in the first instance but to do an action like that going of the field when the fella was not not even looking is dispicable.

seems to be a we bit of physical rivalry building up between these 2 teams - last years league semi final

If McCanns big enough to throw punches he should be big enough to take them....
McGarvey was hitting boys off the ball all day long, its all he could do cause he isnt up to much these days.

Errigal feel aggrieved because plan A against omagh is to outscore them, if it doesnt work Plan B is too get physical. it didnt work either. Too many errigal boys lay down and play acted cause the ref gave them everything.

Other that the mindless man dancing;

it was a good ol game. Peter Harte was totally out played by a more physical and conditioned Patrick Doherty. Very impressed with Ronan McCrory, seems to have added alot of muscle in the off season, strong and fast, very powerful in breaking the tackle, would like to of see him out the field abit further. Sparky loughren couldnt lace daisey mc dermotts boots, dont know why hes there. the boy with the beard in centre half back ? dont know who he is but seems like he's the making of a good player. John McPeake fro omagh played a great game, Joe McMahon added the extra bit. Cahall McCarron shooting was off the boil, for the 3rd game running.

All in all players shook hand and lightly socialized in the club rooms after, tempers bolied over, people got punched, people threw punches and people played some nice football.
few bit of stand banter from yesterday

So what about the off the ball elbow that left the omagh player in hospital ? Omagh number 6 stopped the runner once and got a yellow.. Number 10 from omagh was getting held and punched non stop !! f**k it. Doesn't make a diff to me. I'm a neutral. Its gives down football abit of success I suppose

Burren were the better team, stronger and a lot older than their omagh counterparts... Didn't like the way they tackled at all, high and wild.. Very negative if that was a tactic they set out to play.. But burren played well and took so fine scores !!! Pat was once again biased against tyrone but it was no excuse for not taking their scores

I've just heard about this omagh u-18 development squad, or as some people call it 'youth academy' I'm keen to see what this is about and how it will work, but as people said before the like of omagh are blessed with a great youth structure.. Keeping everyone happy, and bringing them tru the ranks to senior with be no easy task
