GAA Discussion / Re: The Sunday Game
May 22, 2018, 04:39:44 AM
Jasus Patten S was epic on the sunday game highlights the other night. Talking utter scutter! When asked how he would solve the problem of teams having 15 players in their own half (packed defence) - he started shiting on about dance halls making no since at all.😞( you could see whelan muttering ah jasus😄) When pushed again to answer the Q he said get good forward coaches in and train the forwards to keep their head up, just keep their heads up.
😃😄 why is this gombeen still paid to talk such drivel.
Good aul ireland!
Whelan had an interesting point about cutting it to 13 a side to give more space and due to the fact players are much fitter than in the past. Personally i would like to see a few rule changes bbrought in and tried before that. Maybe a rule that every team has to have at least 3 players in the oppositions half and their own half at all times.

Hope the conditions in salthill allow for a free flowing game.( maybe wishful thinking). The rosses backs need the game of their lives and we need to break even at midfield to have a chance. Hoping for belter of a game. Best a luck to the ross players! Up the Ros!

There is an unhealthy fascination with Andy Moran on these Rossie led threads. It really is a serious bone of contention for you guys and gals isn' t it?  ;D ;D ;D ;D
is it because andy Moran is the only thing between the Rossies and SAM

Andy wouldn't even make our FF line. Enda Smith does this revolutionary thing where he runs to the ball rather than slowly ambles to it.
Would u shut up syferus! Jesus u always take the bait and make an ass out of urself.

Diarmuid Murtagh not on squad for Sunday, injured in training on tuesday night.
Big blow that. Last year Roscommon had to endure late injury setbacks before the Sligo game, looks like history is repeating itself one year on.

The injuries weren't the issue. It was playing the injured players that was the bother.
If I recall right Donie Shine was to play last year only for a late injury.

He was concussed. If we named 15 fit players to start last year we would have won even playing as we did.

The arrogance of ye bucks knows no bounds.
Only one buck!  No complaints here ye were the better team on the day last year. Hopefully twill be a good entertaining game on Sunday and win or lose best a luck to Sligo in their following game. Ros abu!
