Fair play to Park last night, he's obviously a limited player but thought he was very good last night. Thought it was pathetic the way Dunphy couldn't admit after the game that Park had played well.
He is always questioning footballers character and Integrity, thought that incident showed that he has no character or integrity himself.

All four United defenders were excellent as well, Hargreaves is a great right back and Brown has always been a much better centre back than full back. Has to be said though Van Der Sar looked very shaky last night and his distribution was terrible at times.
How is your man Abidal playing left full for France...he has looked pretty poor in comparison to Evra over the two legs of this tie. Would also have Clichy ahead of him as well..

Eto'o also looks to be badly out of form at the moment, at his best he's lethal but he wasn't even making any good runs last night. Messi was burning players for fun last night but as soon as he got near the box he had no options as no one was running off him or creating space. As a result Barca failed to create a single clearcut chance in the game

I think it would be extremely harsh to throw the man out of for good just for this misdemeanour. He should get a ban obviously but not be kicked out for good.
If he did headbutt Freeman it obviously wasn't too hard as Freeman wasn't injured in the incident.

Lads , ye should listen to this podcast if ye get achance, the arrogance of the English and Welsh is unbelievable!!
Fast forward in bout 15 mins to hear them talk about the Irish game.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/rugby/
Go to the green bar which says "six nations podcast"

Said that Ireland had a player who has 90 odd caps (o'kelly) and that he wouldn't be fit to clean the English players boots. Dean Richards slagged off John Hayes
Richards also said that if ROG wasn't playing for the last couple of years Ireland would have been relgated somehow...

Hows Rory Woods been playing in the league so far this year??
I remember he had an excellent game against Dublin in parnell 2 years ago...that game was definitely one of my most dissapointing days as a Dublin fan, Monaghan didn't just beat us that day they totally outclassed us. Dublin didn't want to know about it that day at all.

Apart from going out with the right attitude I think having Conal Keaney on from the start could be the key to winning this game. Having Keaney at full forward gives the Dublin forward line much better shape and I think he kind of holds things together a bit. In my opinion he's a bit of a leader, more so than Alan Brogan. Its also great to have a target man like him to hit when you are going through a period of the game where you are struggling for a score

Thought Dublin were very poor on saturday night, their distribution was absolutely brutal, I know the conditions were bad but even allowing for this they kicked way too many bad passes and some of these passes weren't just missing their intended target by a yard or two they were missing it by 5 to 10 yards.
Dublin seem to put in at least two league performances of this standard every year...It doesn't really matter when they do it at this time of year but the problem is that its bad shooting and bad passing that lets them down in the middle of summer as well and it doesn't look like they are going to improve on this aspect of their game this year. Would like to know what if anything is done in training to try and remedy this.

Fennell was lucky not to go alright, that high tackle definitely warranted a yellow card, although his first yellow was a bit harsh..
Don't know what you saw in the John Cunningham incident, thought that was a nothing incident, Vaughan did nothing wrong there at all...

Only real plus to be taken from this game from a Dublin perspective was the performance of Mark Vaughan and maybe McManamon who is showing a bit of potential.

Vaughan's 45 from the right side of the pitch was pure class and definitely the highlight of the game for me...

Dublin to scrape a 1 or 2 point victory with Bernard Brogan to stand out in a poor scrappy affair...

He pulled out big time. I doubt the character sometimes of those lads. Brian O Driscoll, best centre in the world, when was that again?

On what basis would you question their character?? Just because Brian O'Driscoll isnt playing well this year does not mean he has no character, he has been one of the top 2 or 3 centres in the world for the last 6 or 7 years (I think he has been the best but thats a matter of opinion). He's just about the most talented sportsman this country has ever produced and your questioning his character?? He didn't achieve this through being lazy, you won't find a centre in world rugby who works harder than Brian O'Driscoll, his workrate is unreal.

And then you have Ronan O'Gara, the sh*t he has had to put up with over the last year has been unbelievable!!! But he still never shirks his responsibility and goes out and gives it everything every time he plays. Highest points scorer in Heineken cup history, second highest points scorer in 5/6 nations history!! I'll tell you one thing, you'll miss these lads when they're gone!!!

Yes, certainly the most consistant if not best goalkeeper in the premier league for the past decade.

If you were picking the best keeper from the premiership over the last ten years Given would be in with a shout but this season he has been poor enough

This would be my XI:

1. James

2. Clichy
3. Gallas
4. Vidic
5. Evra

6. Ronaldo
7. Fabregas
8. Anderson
9. M Petrov

10. Anelka
11.Adebayor

12. Ferdinand
13. Bentley
14. Torres
15. Benjani
16. Van Der Sar

Anderson probably hasn't played enough to warrant a place but to be honest I don't think many central midfielders, apart from Fabregas, have been that impresive this year and I think Anderson has been excellent when he has played, particularly when playing against the other teams from the top 4.

People can say what they like about Shearer but he was a brilliant soccer player and he made a fool out of Roy Keane  :)

Shearer is a Mammy's boy who won nothing...Keane is a lunatic who won everything...who's the fool

Shearer is definitely the most irritating premiership player of all time...typical english golden boy

Not a bad footballer, but petulant .

Not a bad footballer?? Bit of an understatement, he's an excellent footballer
Petulant?? I don't think so, he's one of the most fouled footballers in the country...always has defenders pulling and dragging out of him but has never struck out at an opponent...I'd say he has good self control he's not petulant at all.

Great man to score points  3,4 and 5 when the dubs are up , however imho, doesnt turn a game when they need inspiration.

The facts don't back that up at all.

Too easy annoyed and if dublin are looking for a go to guy, he may be absent. (  ask conor gormley)

Yes, if Dublin are looking for a go to guy, he may be absent, but the chances are he won't be as 90% of the time he's there doing more than his fair share when you need him.

I don't know if I would have selected him as captain, only time will tell butI think is a better choice than Collie Moran as he isn't guaranteed his place
