Can any body put a figure on the amount of money that these greats of the game get for their
so called analysis.

In the past my club were able to place a local  man in the position of senior team manager at no cost.
That was over 10 years ago.
We find it hard now to even get a man to stand on the line with an outside manager.
No one wants to do it. The abuse.  The comment. Time away from family.  Lack of respect from players. Young lads can be hard to handle.
This from a club that is coming down with coaches.
3 are managing other teams. We have Loads of ones looking to help with the youth.
Very had being a senior manager in your own club with the standards that have been set in the modern game.  Without falling out with someone and creating bad feelings on your own door step.

You are a long time retired you know!!!!
Is O'Hagan away from Coalisland? Would be surprised!
I heard Johnny McBride linked to Ardboe, Pascal Canavan to Moortown, Austin Kelly to Moy.......Errigal, Omagh, Eglish, Aghyaran, Galbally need new managers and according to the site Carrickmore and Kildress too.
Who are the up and coming/established managers around who could fill these rolls? If there is so much money in it why are people not falling over themselves for these jobs?
Who would people like to see in charge at their club?

Them boys of the Ulster Council would not be reading these thing at all now :o
Heard today Austin Kelly and Paul Rouse are the management team to take on the Moy.  Has this been confirmed?

Can rouse with his job manage a team other than in his own club although saying that rumours have it he was involved with granemore last year so maybe he can

Kevin Cassidy real reason for being put of the team was because he crossed the line.

i hate AGM,s,people talking shite and looking for the most boring person to be the treasurer

Agreed.  Not the favorite way to pass anything to to 4 hours depending on the amount
Of conflicting opinions within my own club. But a pessary evil all the same.
The key I think is when every one is pulling in the same direction no matter who is at the helm.  That the work is shared equally and people respect others opinions.    There should not be a them and us feeling by the players. And they should understand the amount of work that is involved in running a club not to mention the cost.
I wonder if the worker can add a poll of positions healed by the people on here.
Plus a poll on the cost of running the club.  £50k  £40k  £30k etc.

Charlie Croker: You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!

Jack Carter: You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.

And a better known one that I found very funny at the time.

Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: What's on the menu this evening, Sir?
Swanney: Your favorite dish.
Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: Excellent.
Swanney: Your usual table, Sir.
Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: Oh, why thank you.
Swanney: Would Sir care to pay for his bill in advance?
Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: No. Stick it on my tab.
Swanney: Ah, regret to inform, sir, credit limit was reached and breached quite some time ago.
Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: Oh, well in that case...
[hands him some cash]
Swanney: Ah, hard currency. Thank you, Sir. Can't be too careful these days. Would Sir care for a starter of some garlic bread perhaps?
Mark "Rent-boy" Renton: No, thank you. I will proceed directly to the intravenous injection of hard drugs, please.
