This must be the worst road crash in the history of the country.

Awful news for the families to receive.

The names of the deceased in last night's collision on the Clonmany to Buncrana Road have been released by Gardai. Those travelling in the black Volkswagen Passatt were –

Paul Doherty, Ardagh, Ballyliffin 19

James Mc Eleney, Minaduff, Clonmany 23

Eamon Mc Daid, Cruckahheny, Ballymagan, Buncrana 22

Damien Mc Laughlin, Umrican, Buncrana 21

Mark Mc Laughlin, Ballynahone, Fahan 21

PJ Mc Laughlin, Rockstown, Tooban, Burnfoot 21

Kieran Sweeney, Ballyliffin, 19

None of the victims are believed to be related. The driver of the Volkswagen remains critically ill in hospital.

The driver of the red Toyota Corolla was 66 year old Hugh Friel of Dunaff, Clonmany.

Awful carry on altogether.

My heart goes out to Sludden he made a monumental error and has to live with that for the rest of is life.

The vermin that attacked him should hang their headsi n shame and hopefully the jus=dge will throw the book at them.

Any truth that Sludden was so poorly protected was becausse the eventsec guys were at the Oxyegen festival?

If so poor once again from HQ.

Pints I find it odd posters ignoring the fans attacking the Ref.

he deserved it. f**k your pc shite. he robbed louth. if that was a club game up here the **** would be in craigavon hospital tonight getting sewn back together.

Do you honestly believe that a referee deserves to be attacked in such circumstances?
When does it be deemed a big enough bollocks to allow 'fans' to assault the ref?

Yes Clones is a cnut of a place, yes the farmers that charge for the parking are rotten scoundrels, yes the beer in the plastic glasses is shite, but by God I still love the approach to the Creighton hotel and seeing the throngs of supporters there. Clones will always be one of my favourite venues.

From a red hand perspective Antrim had us rattled  in the second half. Forget all this talk of taking the foot of the gas. Antrim were damn decent in the second half just a pity for them that they have to be 6 -8 points down before they start to play against Tyrone.
Relieved is my overiding emotion today.

The poor Romans will hide anywhere to avoid the racists.

I think(hope) that Tyrone should win this by 4 - 6 points.
