General discussion / Re: Shankill Bombing

This guy murdered innocent people, plain and simple.  There are a lot of grey areas in things that happened here during the troubles but not here. He transported explosives into a heavily populated area on a busy afternoon.

There is no justification for this.

Begley's family holding a 25th Memorial. Why do the Shinners insist in attending these events, time to let them go.

Begley was an ordinary young man who had an extraordinary life thrusted upon him. He died because of the circumstances of growing up during a war. His family and friends have every right to remember him. He is dead. He is a victim of the vile state that created the conditions for him wanting to wipe out the UFF who murdered hundreds.

Ultimately you or nobody else has the right to tell his family whether or not they can remember and commemorate him. And the Shinners (hypocritcally in my opinion) commemorating him is also their right just as other parties lay poppies for their war dead.

He didn't die because of the circumstances he was born into, he died because he chose to transport a bomb into a busy area putting innocent lives at risk.  They didn't have any choice.

I would love to see Jose get the boot.
His latest tantrum on the USA tour is embarrassing.

I actually think the squad is pretty good and another manager would be able to get much more out of some of the players.

Did La Rive there in last week of May for the first time on a Eurocamp holiday and it was absolutely fantastic.

Couldn't recommend it highly enough we had a brilliant hike and the kids absolutely loved it. Not sure where we will go next year but will definitely do something similar. Really cheap I thought as well something around £350 for the week for 4 of us through Al Fresco.

Went to la baume in the south of france with al fresco last year.

Resort was fantastic but al freso were disappointing, BBQ was dirty and not working, mobile had not been cleaned properly, and there was a condom out of the wrapper lying on the decking when we arrived.  Would definitely go back to the camps but not with al alfreso even though they were a good bit cheaper.

I don't understand this and why people don't get it. SF voters vote for them not to take their seats.

Here's the thing that p*sses me off.  Once they are elected, they are elected to represent the all the people of their constituency, not just the people that voted for them.

These are crucial times for us and they could and should be in Westminster casting votes which could really affect the future of everybody in the North.  Unless they are quietly happy for a hard brexit to happen as they believe that would increase the likelihood of a united ireland in the near future.

20+ years ago, there were plenty of people heading to the arena, exit 15, circus circus and other places were they could take their drugs of choice fairly openly.  These places don't really exist any more so people are doing it in their local pubs and are probably more noticeable.

Also, the security staff in a lot of these places would have had republican connection so to suggest that the IRA was responsible for keeping drugs out of rural tyrone is laughable.

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

I didnt realise the ban was as low as that, thats crazy.  I also dont think there should be any distinction  between types of strikes.  I agree theres a certain moral difference between two lads squaring up and a sneaky punch from behind but in this day and age there should be zero tolerance for striking.

It would be interesting to hear peoples thoughts on the punishment for striking.  Is a month enough or too much?

Personally, I think anybody who strikes should get at least 6 months to try and stamp this out.  I know a lot of people with an old school mentality will think this draconian but we have seen a number of high profile cases in the courts in recent times regarding one punch attacks so everybody should be aware of the potential consequences of striking.

No, the extension is quite sizable so we basically need a self build mortgage for it.  When we took out the 5 year fixed, our plan was to move and port the mortgage if needs be but things changed.

You need to beware of the longer term deals if there is a chance you need to get out of the deal early. We fixed for 5 years a couple of years ago but need to switch providers now as we are putting on a large extension and our current bank don't offer finance for this.  Its costing almost 5k to get out of the deal.

Órfhlaith Begley and Buchanan were easily the two poorest performers in that debate last night but are odds on to take the first two places.  The west tyrone election is a synopsis of the whole problem with Northern Ireland politics where people blindly vote along orange and green lines despite the quality of the candidate.

Have you installed dropbox for windows?
This allows you to configure a local folder which is kept in sync with your online files.

If you need the folder to appear as a logical drive, you can then map this folder as a mapped drive.

Typical rag shit by the Sunday Life. Used to only buy it for the jobs section!!!

Don't know anything about the lad himself or the actual story. On a general note though I see square ball referring to the dissidents as scumbags, which they undoubtedly are. The thing is they wouldn't take or threaten to take this action if the lad or any other person was on the straight.

There are plenty of people on the straight and narrow in our communities who have been targeted by paramilitaries.

On the lookout for something with 7 seats myself, thinking about Hyuandai Sante Fe or Kia Sorrento.

Is there anything else I should consider?
Had thought about the Discovery Sport but Ive heard too many horror stories about Land Rovers so Ill give them a miss.
