Tonight I decided to send texts to anyone selling tickets above face value on gumtree telling them what I thought of them.

I usually look forward to the finals. This year it doesn't bother me one bit. Cork are only there because Dublin's indiscipline, and Down are only there because of a square-ball goal...

      It took a lot more than Dublin's indiscipline for Cork to reach another All-Ireland final. These Cork players have ben bursting their guts since last January in their effort to make it to this final so please don't disparage them with such glib comments.

Had Mayo not lost to Longford, it could have been totally different for Down.

ie i have tickets for row u and row bb in Hogan Lower. Anyone tell me how far back or forward in the stand these are, a rough idea even?

Paddy plumps for -2 cork in the handicap which makes me think they expect a down performance & win or close defeat, as a Punter I'd say a lot of people may take 6/5 cork-2 and give it a right scalp, as Cork in reality are regularly going to be 3 points better than Down. Rarely will a 4/7 shot have this handicap.

Down/Cork is 9/2 which is interesting as Down start well and hold on regularly, so wouldn't be surprised if this came up.
Down first score & HT lead a 7/1 double which is very tasty especially if the first score is a sign of another good start.

I'm a long time living in Dublin but still manage to get to most Mckeena cup, league and Championship games. However no longer affilated with any club and panic is starting to kick in now. I have cast the net as far as I possible can as have all family members but I just can't see a situation that we dont get tickets but most leads have bit a brick wall, a nervous and a few sleepless nights lie in wait

I find that highly dubious. If you had done that they you would of surely got/heard of the season ticket. Nothing like and All Ireland final to bring out the bandwagoners.

Ive been to every game this year. Season ticket has several flaws which if sorted may tempt me.
It's only useful come september.
