not one of them men have the credentials to take over a county squad, mc conville would have the best c.v and even he wouldn't be up to it, Mc Ivor and Tally are about the only 2 that would have the   proper make up to take it over, at least they might be fit under Tally.

Looking forward to this one, could be a stepping stone to great things for Cork, but if people think tyrone were cynical today and went down easy, watch them in this game, they really up it to another level against big physical teams, i hope Pearse ONeill puts manners on Conor Gormley what an arrogant person he is, jordan, cavanagh, dooher and brian mc guigan all hit the deck easily in games like this, cork are a a very big team but they have mobility in the right positions,i think the 2 cork half forwards could nullify jordan and davy harte's attacking threat because they need alot of watching too, tyrone will need to be at the races in midfield to break even with cork, todays game did cork no favours but with the competition for places there in-house games have to be of good quality, i think cork could take this one by 2-3 points and set up a final with the Dubs.

was at a match in croke park a few years ago, there was a double header on, there was an ulster team playing in the first match then cork where playing in the 2nd match, during the cork game a cork fan kept jumping up and shouting "come on the rebels" each time they scored. then later on in the game he shouted it when things went a little quiet and a fan from the northern team stood up and shouted back at him "would you shut your mouth you's only ever had one rebel and you's shot him, think he was referring to Michael Coliins. That wasn't long shutting ur man and up and the all the people round that understood it laughed.

Paul Kernan played full back for cross this year in the AI club final, he's a tall lad bout 6"2 and very strong, he marked gooch in the 2007 AI ireland club done well on him, marked conleith gilligan of Ballinderry in that years ulster club final, dont think he scored from play off him but Sean Cavanagh is a toally different kettle of fish, he'll go down easier than wee gooch, he'll cry about everything and might be a wee bit too shrude for paul, if it did come down to a one on one battle, fair and hard i think paul would do well on him.

too say any team is finished have a look at what there under age teams are winning, and if you look at cross underage achievements in the last 5-years its speaks for itself, a few minors titles, a few u21 defeats in finals, but there is a treble of minor,u21,and senior in 06 so i think cross have good players coming through.

another point id like to is people saying the standard in armagh is poor, i believe if dromintee, pearse ogs and harps to a certain extent won an armagh title they would give ulster a good shot, thats if they didnt drink themselves into oblivion.

i think paul mc grane suffered from john mac leaving the last few years he used to stop players blocking mc granes run, and he kept the scoreboard and lifted presure off clarke and mc donnell with his sometimes glorius scores, dont think he'll be back.

i can see crokes playing alot of high ball into the cross FB line to by pass the half back line, if this is the case i would think paul kernan would pick up vaughan, if he roams brendan mc keown will prob be givin the job, i wouldn be unduly worried about vaughan if i were a cross man, i think john donaldson and francie will try get a good (fair) smack at him early on, but vaughan isnt small but this will just be to show him there about, big open spaces will suit both sets of forwards and it depends on the supply and how the club players cope wit the croke park factor albeit half full, david mckenna could have a field day if let run wit the ball in open space, cross experience in big games and finals to see them through 2.12 to 1.10.
