QuoteMcGarrity hardly ever misses from that range. He has scored some amount of points for Mayo and Ballina from that right side pocket. When you see him lining up from there you can almost always mark it down.

Totally agree with that, it's the one spot on the pitch you can nearly bet your house on McGarrity will land one from,

RIP Big Man, was a pleasure to have seen him preform with Bruce and the E Street Band over the past few years, http://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DyAvolRT3sX4

I have an iPhone,  MacBook Pro and iMac already, would really like an iPad, but can't find the justification to purchase one. Would be handy for holiday's or when on the go, but the 13'' MacBook pro isn't that much to lug around at the minute. But still very tempted to purchase one at least once a month.

In Mayo you can't have played senior club championship the previous year or senior intercounty. Mayo and Sligo (current All Ireland champions) are in the Connacht Final on Friday evening.

Was on the Tommy Marren show, yesterday's show is here on the midwest website. But I think they replace it everyday so you'll have to listen to it soon Abbeysider, think it was at the start of the second hour of the show, Liam was on

Flights & accommodation are sure to go sky high now!

Yah, glad I booked them all a while ago. Now, to find the London equivalent of Quinns of the Big Tree to see who might have a spare ticket for the Champions League Final the night before

Don't think it's an Offaly jersey on closer inspection

I'm happy to see Alan get the captain's armband for the year, he has been a great servant for Mayo down the years, which seems to have been forever for a man who is still not even 30. One of the few names that you would have always down on your first 15 for Mayo for a long time now. As for Andy, your right Abbeyside he never seems to stop talking and encouraging players around him which is a great attribute in a leader. Looking forward to the London game first trip like this I'll be making for a Mayo game overseas.

General discussion / Re: TV Show recommendations

I'm kind of jealous of someone who is just through the first season of The Wire, such a good show. Really looking forward to the new season of Treme to start, thought the first one was very good, and the music just top class. Finally getting around to watching Mad Men after catching the odd episode here and there,

A couple of late changes for Mayo according to the Mayo GAA twitter account, Tom Parsons and Peader Gardiner start, with Aidan O'Shea and James Kilcullen going out

Is cluiche mór do Mhaigh Eo. Tá líon na n-imreoirí beidh a bhfuil a seasamh suas agus a áireamh ar an Domhnach. Bhaile Átha Cliath i bhfoirm eitilt i láthair na huaire, ach mar sin bhí muid an am seo anuraidh, agus nach raibh orainn a fháil ar a mhéad sa deireadh.
