Thinking of the great Monaghan servants not on the starting 15 (or squad) today. Gary Mc Quaid, Clerkin, tommy freeman, damian freeman, JP Mone, Rory Woods, Hanratty and others.

tommy freeman scored

dick clerkin played

I'd be taking Hanratty out of that list in fairness. Fair play to Monaghan. Great win for them and well deserved. This is what championship is all about! Whoever they get in the quarters will have to be in top form to beat them - I know that if we were to meet them 2moro we would probably get beaten - Monaghan owe us one from the last couple of championship meetings where we were lucky to escape!!

I prefer bill monthly.

Pre pay deals are excellent at the minute, I have been using Meteors €30 a month deal for the last few years. You get free calls to any network and landlines, which includes northern landlines if you use the 048 prefix instead of 0044. 10c per minute to UK numbers including mobiles and it is free to receive calls while abroad. There is a data allowance which I don't use and you have to pay for texts, even to your own network, but I rarely text.
The €30 credit usually lasts for about six weeks, so when you consider that my bill was over €100 per month, it is quite cheap.
Does '048' work in place of 0044 for uk mobile numbers?

I have ITV1 HD on freesat this 3 yrs - channell 119. Have to say that the BBC HD stations Channel 4 or ITV stations on HD are not a patch on the picture quality of RTE2 HD. Dont know is there better reception from the saorview aeriel than the satellite signal

I've a freeview tuner built into my TV and the only HD channel that I can get is RTE2 that I'm aware of, is there any other Freeview HD channels?

Its FREESAT not FREEVIEW - Dont know what available on the freeview.

Alot of them wides were from outside the 45 that would be classed as fairly difficult to score anyway, Tyrone still a top 3 team but Donegal and Dublin are ahead of them, Mayo about even with them, and cork and  kildare, sniffing round behind them

No mention of Ciarrai??  :o
Shure we are only playing tommy Murphy cup football according to Brolly ! 😉

Got rid of the Sky subscription last month - €35 odd quid a month saved  8).  Kids have got used to being without it too. It was a load of shite paying that sort of money when there are more than enough channels available on the freesat anyway !

The wind was actually stronger in the second half!

Great result today from the point of view of staying in div 1. Wasnt impressed at all in the second half though. Should have took the game to Tyrone like in the first half. I guess alot of it would be down to fatigue as Kerry put in an intense first 35 mins. Tomas O Se was immense today with his driving runs thru the centre. Thought Gooch did well orchestrating things from the forty and picked out Donaghy well with some great passes.
Game wouldnt have meant much to Tyrone as they had already qualified for the semis but I guess they were told at half time to give it a lash and put a bit of respectability on the score board.
Took a look at the new training facility on the way down the road - very impressive facility but jaysus tis sitting on a cowld spot on the side of the mountain ( when u see the wind mills - u know you are high up!!)

Beware of Stanley stoves - all their castings come from China now. I bought a Charnwood and there's deadly heat out of it just burning pallets etc.

I guess there's not much of a chance of The Kingdom winning the AI this yr from division 2? :'(
