General discussion / Re: Cookstown Incident

Heart breaking. Have been thinking of all involved since I read it first last nite on Twitter. The Greenvale was always a much loved hotspot for us back in the day and for something like that to happen is just beyond belief.
Then hearing about the mother of 3 on a hen in Carlingford as well as the road deaths, makes you appreciate what you have. Tragedy has visited far too many families this weekend. I know I hugged my two wee ones a bit tighter putting them to bed tonite.

Again more of a village than a town but Strangford Co Down is lovely.

Ah the memories. Manys a good night in the Swan. And they used to do an end of the night chip as well-without even needing to go outside to a chip van. Wonder is it still as good. Enjoy the reunion MS.

The Night Of has slowed down a little. Not really as good as how it started it off. Still a good show though and can't wait to find out what happens next week.

Have 2 episodes left to watch..Did it get another season or is it wrapped up in this one?

Planning a holiday for start of june for 2 adults and a 5 month old. Would it be better to book an apartment in terms of bottle making facilities? Not sure where to go either but somewhere thats handy enough to fly to-maybe 3/4 hrs max. Anyone any pearls of wisdom?

General discussion / Re: Pre Marriage Course
February 06, 2016, 04:27:49 PM
Did the course and thought it was grand. Was worried that it was gonna be circle time for adults but it was mostly spent chatting to your partner while going through the book. Taken by a man and woman who were both married 20 yrs plus though not to each other and they were very honest and lovely. No mass. Priest just popped in on the Saturday at the end to wish everyone well in their married life. Quite a few of the couples there already had children/were living together so i think they said something like contraception is up to yourselves-no lectures about what to do.

Now 2 years on and have to do one before the baby gets Christened. Not sure what it involves though?
