Cullyhanna where i thought the better team on the night played the better football over the  64 min.Tasker has to be one if not the best forwards in the county at the min and for a ref to send him off for nothing just to level matters up is very unfair for the paying supporter and off course cullyhanna. He took cross apart thoughout the whole game till he was wrongfully sent off.Ciaran mc keever was by far the best player on the field he is one off Irelands best footballers very cool on the ball passing spot on and not one cross player could knock him off should see him playing for Ireland very soon.Aaron was very poor along with mal mackin think this could be a part off the county problem Aaron has not got the guts when things get turned up a bit he does not want to take that big hit to me he is yellow and it showed yesterday.mal is a player that is very good or very bad he should be ruling midfield but could not get into uit at all yesterday all he done was foul and give away the ball.Im looking forward to the replay but i think tasker should be allowed to play its so unfair to keep a player like this on the side line for doing nothing.

You say Tasker was sent off for nothing.

What was Clarke sent off for.?

never seen the clarke incident but few people around me said he threw an elbow..

i also thought it was mccooey who seemed to be more guilty of anything than tasker..

I'd personally have Poulsen ahead of Lucas on the basis of the Brum game.

i'd pick anyone ahead of lucus, he is just not good enough, how many more chances does he need

just drop gerard back into the middle and play cole behind torres,

     gerard  merieles
maxi      cole        babel
           torres

maxi was starting to play well at the end of last season and although doesn't have kuyt he is just as good going forward..
would be alot worse if it was torres who was out injured!

i would play prefer midfield of:

    merieles, poulson
maxi    gerard   jovanovic
          torres

saw this as well last nite and thought it was pretty poor
knew i should have went to see grown ups!

VDV and Huntelaar available, worth a punt for a loan for a season?
yes on both counts. decent players that would help the squad.

Tymoshchuk on transfer list at Bayern could be picked up cheap enough, good player
linked with Inler today aswell.don't jnow much about him 12million europ bid appaerntly, although take that with the usual pinch of salt
liverpool really neeed 3 players in the next  days, a LB, CM & striker
I dont hold out much hope of getting all 3

Spot on. Dread to think who we'll end up with.

i reckon we could also do with another winger.. someone like wright-phillips would be ideal
kuyt is hard worker but never gonna beat someone for pace and get crosses in

Liverpool
Napoli
Steau Butarecht
Utrecht

Tough enough group, interesting side shows with Dossena and Kuyt against former teams.

yea pretty tough compared to who we could have got..
but compared to what we have been playing in champions league in last few years we should qualify ok for next round

Liverpool and Barcelona agree fee for Javier Mascherano

good stuff, at least that gives them a few days to get couple of players in with the cash..

we are gonna struggle in midfield if don't get someone else in there, lucas is useless and poulson didn't look too hot last nite either!

cross won well tonight against dromintee. cross had one of the kernan sent off towards the end of the game.

paul kernan it was..straight forward decision by ref to send him off - elbow in the face

heard that this has been reduced to 2 yellows.. how are cross always able to get away with stuff like this!

Has your dog a handy supply of grass? I thought they only ate grass when they knew they wanted to be sick.

heard somewhere that if you see a dog eating grass it is a sign of rain....

the obrien's chicken tikka or chicken + stuffing sandwich fillers from dunnes are hard to beat
add in some chese and crusty brown rolls for a tasty lunch

or add in some chilli sauce to the plain ham and cheese sandwich for a bit more tatse..
