Fair play to Cork but how did they win that game? They were so reluctant to go forward, pass sideways and back nobody wanted to take responsibility to take on the score. I still don't know if it was luck or judgement to lob in the high ball with seconds left, were they going for goal or trying for a point to go for penalties? Makes it very interesting now

Glad that he's gone. I didn't think he added anything at all, no insight, no entertainment, nothing.

Time for Spillane and o'rourke to follow him out the door
I have to say I agree, they were good in their day but now its time to step down. Sky has better coverage at the moment.
+1

The three lads are 25 years out of the game as players. None have done anything serious in Management. The game they were involved in is light years away from what we have today.

cooper has been doing that for the last 5 years but no idea why he wasn't subbed before he was a red card waiting to happen

He is the reason I watch sky coverage instead, he is useless

Continued domination to force change....??

Do you think the GAA are going to admit they fucked up the whole championship by funding Dublin? Will they shite.

They'll persist with the shite that Dublin got their act together, and it's up to the other counties to get up off their knees.

While I'd like to think a Dublin win would force change, it won't. So, even though they have 37 already, I'll be supporting Kerry.

Totally agree, some counties have been on their knees for a while and will stay there for even longer.
Leinster has been a joke for a few years now, Dubs are winning by not getting out of second gear.
I don't understand GAA on the funding issue, it is no good for any sport to have one team so superior.

Neither I want them both to lose! Both sets of fans are as bad as each other!

Im sick to the teeth of reading that Shane Walsh is a quality footballer, he may have some ball skills all right but when the chips are down he a choker and at best a show pony.
That's a bit harsh I thought he did well but I did not understand Galway tactics, it seemed to be pull, drag, trip any mayo player. When you did start to play football in second half you did well.

well done the rossies you have now beaten Mayo & Galway away, you must be doing something right!

Coen was excellent today without his scores it could have been worse

i watched the game on sky in  London and imo Boland did very little, anytime we had forward momentum and he got the ball it stopped or worse we went sideways or backwards. All in all a poor display by our lads, too many dropped catches and why are we rushing the ball with only ten minutes on the clock.
Fair play to Roscommon we were beaten by a better team on the day. After winning the league I expected more.

Well let's see this table.

Thats one serious injustice you habe taken on considering you could be putting all your energy into tackling something trivial like homelessness in the country

This is the biggest issue in Gaelic Games. We can't have one county continuing to compete at a professional level while the sport is amatuer. Because it's obvious what will happen and we see it already. The only way to keep up with a professional outfit is to become professional yourself, to invest as much as they do. That will mean that only counties with money can compete. This will kill Gaelic Games in many counties. We see it with the increased calls for a B championship. This isn't what the GAA is about. We need to claim our games back.
The establishment are all about money and are neglecting the games in many counties. This can't continue and we can't let one counties greed get in the way. The monster must be slain. Once this is done we can look at repairing Gaelic Games.

Oh and here's the 54 titles, it's a comparison of the 13 years post funding to the 13 years pre funding.:

Serious money been thrown on Horan now , opened at 7/2 he's gone all the way down to 11/10, just checked gone odds on now , This is a serious gamble . Somebody thinks they know something .

Horan is 47 years old with a young family. He has a decent ''real'' Job and has various media gigs to add to it. He is on a good number as Manager of the Westport Senior team that has loads of potential from a lot of work done at ground level of which he could take all the credit for should they be successful. Why would he give up most of that for a gig that has gone past it sell by date? At the moment he is remembered as the Manager that got Mayo consistently to the top table. This reputation would be lost if he returned.

Yep, that about sums it up. Wise thing for him to do would be absolutely nothing.

It’s a little unfair by Mayo to be hogging the limelight in the week before the All Ireland final. Get off the stage lads.

Sure this is far better entertainment altogether.
That's for sure.
Little or no interest in that Final thingy outside the 2 Counties involved.
Did not see this coming, good luck to Stephen I never thought we would get to one AI let alone two. It was never dull but sadly a few poor decisions cost him.

Indiana has it spot on the O'Sheas are average players at best and we must have better players in the county. Why should Connelly and Holmes take all the crap? the players had their say in secrecy at least C&H came out and spoke publicly. Some of the players should take a look at themselves and stop laying the blame elsewhere.

The sooner we realise that the O'Se brothers are moderate footballers are best the better we will be, no use being a fine physical lump of a man if you can't catch the ball or hold on to it when you have caught it. I am fed up watching them drop the ball or give it away, not their fault we lost but did feck all to win the game. We had a chance in first few minute for a tap over point and went for the goal instead and that set the pattern for the rest of the game.
