An angry angry county we'd be safer cutting them off and l;etting them play in the French leagues.  Lets ban them totally.

Lads lads lads
a wise old bitch once told me "he who writes the news gets to tell the story."
The days of objectivity are over.  Goddammit they were boring anyhow.

He rode into town with a confident grin

Did the Cork players get grants this year?

To me it sounds like the ongoing harassment of an intercounty player by some nobody.  Boys like Mulligan and Mortimer have to put up with this all the time.  These buys mates should be taking them out and thumping them.  Give the players a little respect.

GAA Discussion / Re: Rate your County Board
October 24, 2008, 09:51:37 AM
Tyrone county board have become very elitist, obviously there are elements of their operation that they run terribly well ie intercounty -   they plough all their resources into the county teams and cant even organise a league season without huge breaks in it for the clubs.  It seem to be give give give by the clubs, yet the county board which is self sustaining(with club members money)  at this stage still semm to take money off their member clubs at every opportunity.

GAA Discussion / Re: New Meath Manager

It's probably more of a reflection on the dearth of available quality managers though. - Heffo

Post of the day, and thought for the week.  Meath should always attarct a half decent list of candidates and maybe there nothing but crap managers about.  My best approach would be Boylan for 5 years.
