General discussion / Re: The Official Golf Thread
July 31, 2017, 10:53:23 AM
People criticising Rory here which I think is unfair, been plenty of years with that caddie and he hasn't said he is blaming him and if anything has praised him or defended him.
Plenty of golfers change caddie regular enough or until they find the right one and at some point Rory would have had to change anyway given the difference in age.
He has to give himself the best change to win at this stage and maybe this change will help.
By the way I'm not a massive Rory fan at the best of times but he seems to be getting a time of it regarding this decision if true.

Bomber your obviously a WOM, my wife is a teacher and plenty of her friends are and she works 8-5 and then comes home and can be marking 2-3 hours per night (which they don't get paid for) and also marks at the weekends. I'm thankful that I'm in a job thats 9-5 and I dont worry about it in the evening or the weekend.

The fully deserve in holidays they get, if you think its such an easy job then maybe get into it yourself.

She is like teflon, nothing sticks, no the lies or deception. Her voters will vote for the party no matter what they do. They will simply double down.
Embarrassing and depressing in equal measure.

From the time you sign for the house and it is legally yours then the responsibility for anything falls to you.  This unfortunately includes any building defects that may have been present that you did not raise with the seller and negotiate a lower price.  Given it is a repo then you are probably in a weaker position.  Though hard to see how a leak in the heating only became apparent after you bought it.

Aye its just last time we were in the house was maybe 8 weeks ago when we made the final decision to go for it and the rising in the wooden floor has happened between then and now and not something we expected, aye think we are in a weak position alright just annoying as its not something we accounted for or that was part of the deal and think it could be the fault of the estate agents for the way they dealt with the radiators perhaps. Hard to know but just frustrating.

Bought a house recently, it was a repo and obviously needed someone attention but is a good house. the sitting room floor is wooden and we asked the estate agent to turn the water off while we bought it. They turned it off, disconnected the water to the tank and opened all the radiators.
Anyway we dont know if there is a connection but the day after getting the keys there is a rise of nearly two inches in the wooden floor beside where the radiator is in the sitting? would we have any come back and does anyone have any ideas?
This wasn't there either of the two times we first looked at the house.
On a side note does anyone know where you could get borax? I'm based in Belfast at the moment but moving into mid ulster.

Cheers in advance

Just a point, max per that is 45. Sugden is unionist.

Also to note, pbp is pro brexit

Might be brought up unionist but doesn't side with many of their policies.

Watched Hacksaw Ridge at the weekend, thought it was great and stuck very closely to the true story which makes it all the more amazing. the war scenes are among the best I have seen since saving private ryan if not better.
Personally think Mel Gibson should get oscar for best director for it, no fan of la la land.

Always think true sign of a great film is one you would watch again and also would it be as good in 15-20 years and la la land doesn't do it for me in either.

General discussion / Re: Conveyancing in Belfast(South)
December 06, 2016, 02:41:38 PM
Didnt want to fire up a new thread but buying first time and just wondering about conveyancing, buying property near Magherafelt but living in east belfast at moment, would it matter where we go to for the conveyancing.
Looking at JMcNally Magherafelt or McConnellKelly In Belfast. Any recommendations or things to check for?

Cheers

In regards to the GOP trying to remove Trump as the party nominee, they knew a year ago what they were getting into bed with and it should come as no shock!

Problem is what kind of chaos and civil unrest it could lead to if you remove a canditate like Trump with the kind of support he gets..

It annoys me when I see Trump refer to the E-mail leak/delete scandal, I'd like him to exactly say what happened cause I'm not even sure he knows now. He has just shouted it that much that people believe she did something very very wrong but no one actually knows the facts.

On a related note the show 'last week tonight with John Oliver' covers the american election well especially a few weeks ago talking about clinton and what is actually true and false and what she has actually done, covers other news stories very well too.

The last debate favoured Trump more because he went on the attack and did go with the traditional format which put clinton off kilter.

Understand what you are saying mate, I've been seizure free for going on 13 years and I'm so reliant on driving now I don't know what I would do if that was to change and I took a seizure.
All I can say is I got very lucky that my medication seemed to control the seizures (epilum 500) but I know plenty who have never found the right stuff.
Hope it all works out for you mate.
