I see that Omniscent Joe hasn't bothered with any Armagh players for the Railway cup, or perhaps he wants to preserve them, as Ulster always win anyway.

Harte will have to get through Big Joe. ¡No Pasarán!

No manager in Cross that doesn't even reach the Ulster final is going to have a long reign.

Perhaps they'll bring back Dev Oil as sponsor, they seem to be in business in a big way.

QuoteAnd before 1996, were they all on active service?

They needed Kernan power to ascend.

Geezer can have the Cross' players when Big Joe is finished with them.
Mind you given the players missing already, that might be sooner rather than later.

QuoteI think only people who have managed teams to ulster club titles and Ulster senior championships should deride the contribution that McDonnell can make.

Not many of those about.

McDonnell worked with Geezer when winning that Ulster club title, back in 1 PC (pre Cross), so they might well work well together.

QuoteFootball was invented in 2002

That's only inter-county football. Club football was invented in 1996.

Bring back the real manager!

But then the same voices called for his removal because of the lack of half forwards, and using SK, when the alternatives have not proven any better.

It is proper the Big Man is given a proper prominence for a giant of the GAA.
