Same last year.

That's why I thought when chance came to get rid of play offs it would be a better idea. Obviously pros and cons for it

Last league game 8th Sep. If a team goes out first round of champo, and make the play offs, it'll be a long slog 1 game in 7 weeks

Reports of a referee strike this evening

Div 1 games unaffected.
Div 2 & div 3 games off apparently

Where is proof of this. No reports about it. Then again could not blame them.

No proof at all. Most likely Bull shit.

You were the one said it lol

What would be the point in that?

An awful situation no doubt but with a full round of games tonight is there any word on what the refs are thinking?

Couldn't blame them if they did strike but someone bound to be in the know by this stage

Owen Roes showing two day weddings and a wee game to sweat it out on day 3 is the way to go....

Whats your thoughts on axing Gallen from the panel for playing football? I've never been a fan of excluding players that dont make match day panels from club football, surly they would be better served getting some game time.

He was named on panel as sub keeper - after all the crying Aghyaran did about GC playing players hat shouldn't have been playing a couple of years back. Surely they should be docked the points now then for playing him during a stared game 🤔

Well that 2nd half was shocking. The defending for that goal was awful, Morgan beat easily at near post but not a hand laid on them at all the whole way up field.

What does that mean now for Tyrone in new format?

How many starred games are there?

Maximum of 5. Last year worked out at 3

Heard someone was called up to panel last week for training but not sure of names.

I see fixtures have been released.

Any truth in rumours that weeks 2 and/or 3 are to be double weekends? Think it would be stupid if double weekends then a gap after starred games if Tyrone still going.

Antrim started at Start of March,  they are 3 league games in already,  playing league matches at 10am on Sunday mornings but then the county board there doesn't really care about the football, all about the hurling.

Armagh start this week AFAIK
Down 14th April for senior league,  their junior leagues about 2 weeks earlier, think something similar for Fermanagh.
Think the ulster leagues are near completion which probably means a few more counties will be kicking into action soon.

Tyrone seems to be a lot later than most.  Guts of 5 / 6 months training before league starts......Scunder ye if your a player.

On your last point. I am scundered. Only reason I'm still playing is because it's my friends I play with. There's no enjoyment anymore but I feel I'll disconnect from the lads if I pack it in. Has to be more to life than 6 days a week including Sunday morning sessions

Heart. Guts. Determination. Fight. And a bit of luck.

Great to see a bit of bite within the team again

Cathal McShane brilliant last night. Super movement throughout and took some quality scores, especially the team score in 2nd half. Poor free to miss near end but conditions obviously played a part. I really hope he can keep this up as he is a real force and makes over teams worry more about the full back line so he preoccupies players before a ball is even thrown in

The same man who told Owen Roes to get their injured player off the pitch the night the air ambulance had to come because RTE was there for the Trillick/Dromore game. At least he cares about player welfare
