Brexit is a mess. But as a driver of UI it's a red herring

Not so, the undermining of the whole 1998 settlement and the NI economy is very definitely influential.
I agree. The UK is close to bankruptcy. The deficit is the difference between govt income and spendingIt is €1.7 Trillion pounds now. A no deal Brexit could be the end.
Unionists are in a very difficult situation.

Do you just pull figures out of the sky?

What is the true figure?

Between spending and revenue it is certainly not 1.7 Trillion but seafood loves the fake news, any post for him is a good post to rack up his posting count, nearly all of his posts are bullshit, cut and pasted from some web site or other.

You're right. Seafoid had approximately the right number, but the wrong label.

The deficit (i.e. spending vs. income, as represented by borrowing) for the 12 months to March was £42.6 Billion.

The national debt is £1.79 Trillion.

For someone constantly being very diligent for factually correct posts, you can see how this wrong label is simply being used by the poster for shock value.

You're very clued in for someone with 38 posts🤔🤔

You do realise you don't have to post on this board to be able to read it?

I don't see how else consensus can be gained that it is necessary to have one. Unionists and brits will always argue conditions not met, nationalists will argue otherwise. There does need to be some mechanism to provide strong evidence one way or the other. Allows the process to move on to the next, most important stage - what exactly would we be voting for?

The idea of doing it now is so monumentally stupid that it would set back the actual process of unification back a couple decades.

Could you explain why oh knowledgeable one?

Look at a fecking census and see for yourself, cherub.

When exactly is the "right time" if the biggest constitutional upheaval in a century against the wishes of the north isn't?!

When the side that is actually going to vote yes is in a majority. Duh.

Cameron thought it was the right time, Hilary thought she was home and hosed with numpty running against her.  No one knows when the majority is going vote yes, but if we are dragged out of customs union and a 300 mile boarder comes up even the staunchest unionist will feel it in her / her pocket.

Football, Hurling, Camogie, they are the best weekends for the kids, one of the true successes of the GAA. Enjoy every minute, was fortunate enough to be at 4 over the years in all disciplines, your son will love it - and the craic is great for the parents, especially the Saturday night BBQ!

What do we see the team being? I'd go with
Hughes
Burns - McKay - McCabe
Shields - Donaghy - Forker
Vernon - Sheridan
McShane - Hall - Grimley
Grugan - Murnin - McParland

Is he not still injured?

Came on against West neath and was warming up v sligo

Saw him warming up but his mum told me he had no chance of coming on and wasn't too optimistic if they beat Sligo either that he would play.

make no mistake the only losers here are the fans
nobody in theior right minds would choose to go to newbridge.
people in their hatred of all things official lost sight of the fact and smelt blood without think
the whole thing was moronic and only the incompetence and cowardice of HQ let this happen

Dry your tears. A bandwagon shouldn't dictate where a game is played.

That's exactly what's happened, a bandwagon has decided where it's played!

No Kildare drawn out first decided.

That is the team we should go with and 1-14 probably the team we will go with. Even if fit Gavin's issue in replacing Oisin (McIllieembeherr according to the Markievicz Park announcer) is MacIomhair played as a marker in the half back line against Sligo. Would love to see us going with more fire power.

Anybody thinking of keeping their money in their pocket if Kildare get shafted?

I know I would be annoyed if that happened to armagh and the rest of the country carried on as if nothing was wrong

Joining in with a Kildare chant at half time possibly. Not going to match - unlikely as I have a season ticket and Croke Park will already have my money !

Can you not opt out per game?

Anyway, Teachers do get it handy. Summer holidays rolling around and they're outside in the sunshine swanning about. A complete joke. Surely they should be made just to mind children over the holidays. In case they get withdrawal symptoms.

Why didn't you become a teacher if you think it is that handy?

Because I have a sense of humour. Something you seem to be lacking. That probably disqualifies me.

The new social media trend - when called out, you were being flippant - its the new craze, run with it, definitely very prevalent on this board.  ;D

Still waiting on those posts you mentioned.. Called out and all that  ;)
Its not hard to find them.  You are embarrassing yourself in your pursuit to get a rise out of Syferus.

Banter, tit for tat stuff with Syferus is grand altogether, he's actually a smart guy with a good moral compass, heart in the right place sort of guy, whereas I use the board for other reasons..

I don't think anyone loses any sleep on whats been said on here, nor should they.. as for embarrassing myself I doubt it very much, I don't know anyone on here to be embarrassed too.. I'd be embarrassed if I thought this board was the be an end all

Says someone with 17460 who is never off here, you couldn't make it up.  8)
