Was at Tattyreagh today to watch the Beragh and Eskra playoff game. Poor stuff on show. Beragh won by 4. Rodgers ran the show. But think they will struggle next time out as don't think the Aghaloo management will be as niave to give him a free role without anyone marking him. Eskra have regressed badly.  If the Down county board were present they'd be wondering what they've hired as Eskra looked unfit and utterly clueless. Seriously bad year for Eskra failing on all 3 fronts to get promotion given they were early season favourites to get up
.

Who the f**k is this guy???? You moron.

Yes sorry Kildress in the next round. Misunderstood the playoffs. Thought Kildress were safe now but obviously not, apologies. Innocent mistake.

Good win for yourselves away to Aghaloo, never an easy place to get a result. Would be fully expecting you's to do the business now against Beragh. Any idea when the game will be?

Now I feel  bad lol.

Game next Sunday in killyclogher before league final. Think we can do it but beragh will be up for it.

No problen, was deserved for my stupidity.
Big pitch of Killyclogher could suit Beragh's inside forward line. Hadn't seen much of them before but looked very sharp today especially the Grimes fella so could cause problems there, but still imagine Kildress will have to much experience  and quality and win the game.

McClean will end up at Celtic, hopefully the Poppy won't be an issue for him there.
Do Celtic not wear the poppy on their shirt?

Short answer is no. Definitely didn't against Hearts yesterday

You would expect a lot more Irish footballers to object to wearing a poppy on the same basis as McClean. Also saw Nemanja Matic wasn't wearing one on Saturday i think but very little being made of that?

Augher management gone too I believe. Clogher also.

Not surprised the Augher setup has gone, probably pushed. Some strange decisions on County final day none more so than bringing on a limping Cassidy, but also the substitution of Hackett for McKenna was as strange.

Very very surprised to hear the Clogher management have left? They were hardly pushed? Strange giving the success they had with what is a limited enough squad. Next men in will do well to get them to a similar standard let alone improve them which they will need to do massively to stay in Intermediate

Looking at the D2 relegation, you had Moortown, Urney, Strabane, Greencastle all in the mix and Kildress confirmed as a play-off spot.
All these teams (i think) have been in D1 as recently as 4 years ago. Quite a fall for these clubs to be fighting off junior football.

And sure look at Eskra scrapping to get out of Junior when it wasn't that long ago they were in Senior. Will be some catastrophe if they don't make it up paying a manager 10k +
