I got word for Borero the last day he won, before the race I was told it was the best handicapped horse in Charlie Manns yard.  It only won by 1l that day, I didnt see the race so I dont know if he was pulling up at the line or flat out.  He runs again today at 2.20 and is only up 3lbs for the last win.  I havent heard anything today but at 4/1 I think hes worth a few quid, he owes me nothing.

Borero is declared to run tomorrow in Lingfield at 3.10 if it passes the inspection.  It's not a tip but I'll be backing it.

Niall-A friend of mine told me the owner was Belfast based, apologies for that.

I went to Punchestown and backed 5 winners, nice money spinner before Christmas.  In fairness you would have to have been useless not to make a few quid there, there was good word around for Joncol and Bob's in the bumper.

Personally I wont be doing it.  JJ Lambe is after getting third with Inner Voice in the 1.50.  It was backed from 20's into 12's before the off.  Inner Voice is to the best of my knowledge owned by a Belfast bookie, one of his employees is a regular poster on here.
Would a trainer send the word out about the wrong horse to deflect attention?  I dont know but I'll watch the race with interest without any hope of financial reward.  I hope the horse wins but wont chance it.

Third year as a red. Probably a few years to go yet before an upgrade. Looking for a ticket?

No. Red myself for 3 years. Have a mate who is a silver and he was llooking to team up with someone and maybe lend for certain matches. Would be advantageous to both.
I in the same boat as you but could be years before I get offered a silver.

Red myself too.  From what I hear the waiting list is up to 7 or 8 years before you become Silver.

Auction is for a worthy cause, the Tottenham foundation helping underprivileged people (including Arsenal supporters) in the Tottenham area. Last year they auctioned the entire kit from the 125th anniversary game with Villa

A very worthy cause without question and the 125th anniversary kit was probably worth auctioning if your into that kind of thing.  However auctioning boots etc. from a game that ended in a draw is scraping the bottom of the barrell.  Maybe if they win something soon, I dont know, say the 2009/2010 Championship they could then find something worth auctioning.

A little boy gets £10 for his birthday and rushes down to the Sport Shop to buy the new football he has been desperate for.

He gets a ball down from the rack and gives the shop-keeper his £10. "Sorry son !!" explains the shopkeeper. "This ball costs £20, but you've only got £10".

Thinking quickly, the boy looks up at the different club footballs on the rack and says: "Ok. If you blindfold me and I guess which club's crest is on the ball, will you let me have the ball for £10?" The shopkeeper decides to humour the boy. He agrees to the lad's proposal, and so he blindfolds the boy.

First up he gives the boy an Arsenal ball. "OK," says the boy, placing his ear to the ball, "I can hear the blasting sound of 2 canons. This must be an Arsenal ball!" "That was a lucky guess," exclaimed the shopkeeper, "Let's try another one!"... and he hands him a Millwall ball. "OK," says the boy, placing his ear to the ball again, "I can hear a pack of rampant Lions. It must be a Millwall ball!"

"Bejaysus!" says the shopkeeper. "If you get the next one right I'll let you have the ball for nothing..." and with that he passes him another ball. Again the boy puts the ball to his ear and after a few moments he exclaims "That's a Tottenham ball!" "Holy Mary Mother Of God!" shouts the shopkeeper. "How on earth did you get that one? I suppose you heard a cockerel crowing!!"

"No..." said the boy. "It's going down!"

Nolan: We Went After Theo

Bolton Wanderers captain Kevin Nolan has admitted he instructed his team-mates to target Arsenal youngster Theo Walcott during Saturday's clash at the Reebok...
Walcott came on as a second-half substitute in the Gunners' 3-1 victory over the Trotters, lighting up the game in typical fashion by providing the assist for Denilson's sealer.

The England winger is in the best form of his short career, and Nolan confessed that his defence were under orders to kick the jet-heeled teenager out of the game.

"I have never seen anybody as quick as Theo Walcott in my life," he told The Sun. "I said to Jlloyd Samuel 'Give him a little kick and see if he comes back at you!'"

Nolan's comments will no doubt enrage Arsene Wenger, as the Arsenal manager was livid with the similarly physical approach Dynamo Kiev took against Walcott during last week's Champions League clash.

But the Bolton skipper defended his side's tactics: "At the end of the day, it is a physical sport. We don't want to be like basketballers.

"We are in the gym four or five days a week to build ourselves up to try to stand up to challenges like that.

"We are in danger of losing that side — the roughing up of people."

Na definetly not, on Sunday it was clinging to the sides of the glass well, a ring for every mouthful, Monday it was going flat very quick and the head on them was yellow rather than creamy white.

The gas was gone
