Cant believe the Team Talk guys never created an award for Solicitor of the Year.

I'm not saying nothing. A great bunch of lads.

If you're not saying nothing then you are saying something surely

He's afraid of getting another letter. Stationary bill must be something else. Did the water carrier hand deliver the letters that went to the island?

From a galbally point of view it's obviously disappointing getting relegated on the final day. But we have a very young team (9 of the starting 15 yesterday played for the u21 team of last year) and maybe a year in division 2 could be what's needed

Took long enough getting out of it the last time. For the talented crop they need the better quality div 1 rather than slogging it out in div 2.

Serious tears this morning.

Almost like the prior 14 games were worth nothing to some men  ::)

No games should be fixed. The first or the last. Makes a mockery of a league and KC have let themselves down a bagful and it wont be forgotten for a long time round here.

Regarding Edendork, what else would you expect. Some value for money in a set up when they have to resort to threatening the CB before the final match even takes place knowing full well they were being gifted the points. Sneaky sneaky boys.

It's so obviously not right, I completely agree with you. But I don't see how the three teams at the bottom can have any complaints over the long term. They were all in the bottom 3 all year. None of them dramatically slipped down or fell at the last hurdle. They are the three worst teams if we are being honest.

I disagree. Aghyaran for example would have looked a t the fixture list, seen they had a winnable game on the final day and one of the teams around their level had a supposed big team in KC. How were they to know that KC were going to gift points. KC should be ashamed of themselves. Edendork also.

Club Chairman: "We are on the lookout for a manager, you come highly recommended. You guided your county to successive relegations, have took some of the biggest clubs throughout Ulster winning diddly squat, you are looking over £25k, what can you bring to our club that will help not only this team but the club as whole?"

Well travelled manager "Well I will get the team playing like thugs, we will start rows at every opportunity. If that doesn't work I have enough contacts to get onto other teams to get points threw to us. I will get a solicitor involved with the team, anyone criticises me or the club will get a letter. The CB will get a letter telling them their rules for relegation are challengeable."

Club Chairman: "Hired!"

Given their ability to upset the odds this year against the fancied teams, what's the thoughts on Coalisland taking down Cross.....?

Would need to be able to take the 2 x O'Neills influence away from the game (especially Rian)  and have someone who could physically match up to Hanratty etc.....

Slim to none. More none than slim.

Was Glad to see Coalisland win, they deserved it with the run they've had and took some big teams out of it like Dromore and the 5 parishes of Ballygawley! Edendork should have beat them but they didnt and it was always expected for Coalisland to overcome them! Semi's are all about winning and not performaces!!
On the final yesterday there where a few men who really stood out for me on the Coalisland team.

1. Paudi Hampsey on his turnovers and tackling, he put on and expedition on tackling!
2. Cormac O'Hagan, Free taking was top drawer, under pressure, didnt put a foot wrong the whole game
3. Michael McKernan moved onto KC's best performer McCann, Carberry got the better of Sludden and Petey Harte in earlier rounds but McCann won this battle, was moved McKernan on was essential for Coalisland to win
4. Daniel Fee, Outstanding performance, up and down all day, toss of a coin for me on MOTM with Hampsey

I thought Stephen McNally was man of the match - had a great game.

He was, maybe being a former corner back myself Im biased towards Fee!
Could pick out loads of men, Young Quinn deserves a mention, Plunkey lead by example, Eoghan Hampsey didnt give Sparky much, I could go through all off them!
For a change could the man of the match even be the Coalisland managment, really you could argue thats where the game was really won!!
If we are talk g about bad manners and unsporting behaviour from McCann, then I dunno how you could praise the coalisland management team. Thier behavior was a disgrace.
The sooner the GAA stamp out managers and mentors coming into the field the better.

Both camps were at that. Every time Tiernan got touched he went down (delayed reaction) and then on came the physio, statician, hairdresser, parish priest and manicurist to make sure he was ok.

He was OK.

Why didnt Connal McCann play yesterday?

Could someone please point out why Sean Cavanagh's face was on the news last night when discussing the recent fighting at GAA matches, sure that was an accidental tackle and the lad was cleared by Tyrone Co Board so why show his face as if he was battered by someone in the crowd

Reading the BBC article it appears that the club feel aggrieved with the county board not giving them a report. Seems very strange not to give the clubs a copy of the report and reading between the lines, the video I suspect, shows the collision wasn't accidental and that the referees report contradicts what was released by the CB. Hence the reluctance to release the DVD and the report.

The CB must have thought it would just go away. But fair play to Moy, they are within their rights to get a hold of the report. Its standard procedure surely?

I'm not sure everyone at the game or who I've since seen the video agreed with that conclusion. If there did look to be intent the county board's attitude maybe sums up the problem trying to keep things like this out of the game.

My observations from the weekend for what it's worth.
For excitement and drama, Cargin and St Galls couldn't be better
Draperstown and Maghera, well just Draperstown and Maghera were always and always will be
I thought we would have made it to a county final before the neighbours
And does Screenexile just post when Draperstown wins or there's a row somewhere

He has plenty of time to continue his obsession with diving tyrone players now.

For all the faults I cannot remember hearing of any instance where a Tyrone referee was attacked. Martin Hurson in croke park being the obvious exception.

Some amount of rubbish talked here. It is nearly impossible to say whether there was intent without a stop in play and a strike. I didn't see it but the difference in opinions from neutrals show that it was not clear cut.

Both statement were ridiculous. are they gonna start releasing these every time a player is blamed in what they see as the wrong or every time a player is hurt in a challenge they see as deliberate!

It is was deliberate then they should throw the book at them but if its not clear cut then what can you do? Some morons on this

Reading between the lines but if the footage wasn't absolutely damning then it would have been released. On all the teams I have been involved in we were given a dvd of the champo game in the few days after.

Is it being covered up due to an injunction? If not, safer just releasing it and proving the offenders innocence or guilt.

Seriously? They way things are reported in the press and discussed on social media these days, especially with regards to Tyrone related issues, do you think releasing the video will result in anything other than a completely over hyped witch hunt? I'd say you'd need to be pretty certain of the guys intent before unleashing that on him.

Fair enough never thought of that.

It puts paid to the notion that Cavanagh and Moy have ever accepted that it was anything but a deliberate act. Only the Edendork player will truly know his intentions himself, but I think that the Tyrone county board need to release the video footage if they want full transparency. It might still not be 100% clear but at least people can make their own minds up based on the evidence and if Edendork believe they have been slandered they will also welcome the chance to clear their players name.

Would a club have the legal capability to prevent the CB releasing a video?

In my opinion you would think there was a gun being held to his head. Not a real gun in case the legal team are reading this and I get a solicitors letter.

I think Conor Meyler's assessment of the incident was telling.

I heard there wasn't much in the incident. Cant see anything come of it.

More concerning is the recording of a well known, well travelled manager asking a game to be decided before a ball was thrown in. Thankfully the opposition refused and subsequently tanked them.
