New here.. just looking the opinion on something I was thinking about. I believe Galbally will win an O'Neill cup in the next 6/7 years. (From an outside man)

I think you're right and I'd go one step further and say I think they could be the first Tyrone club to win the senior All Ireland.

Galbally would have their fill of it v Corofin though, or the Dublin champions of any year.

Can't see either of them giving Galbally bother to be honest. A hypothetical great team

Dont think there can be any doubt that Aghaloo are head and shoulders above everyone else in Division 3. With cooler heads and a full compliment of players and they would have won that game without a doubt.

With better players they could win the senior all-ireland too

Anyone at the loughmacrory v coalisland u20 game on Monday night? Just seen a video of a row after a the Lough number 6 stamped on a guys back on the ground. Dirty act.

Surely this can't be the lad who was involved in the Augher episode. If it is, then his comeuppance is coming - it always does. Hopefully it is not but the Lough need to look seriously at themselves - this is the 3rd or 4th incident this season already. I also hear they were at it against Ardboe in a U14 knockout game giving hassle to one Ardboe player in particular. They have a serious amount of good youth players from U14-U20 and if they keep the key players all involved then they will be a force but not with this bullshit going on as well.....

Completely agree. need to learn before going up into division 1. If the young lads try it against the likes of clonoe/carrickmore/dromore then they may learn the hard way unfortunately

They should have let the fixtures remain as normal with a correspondence to clubs saying that where there was strong objection to playing at the same time as u17s then the county board would facilitate a move to Saturday evening or Sunday evening, pending agreement from both clubs.

Agree with that. These league fixtures were set weeks back whilst this minor fixture was only sprung on Sunday/Monday. Accommodating attendance at a minor fixture shouldn't take precedent over hundreds of club players.

Minor fixture was not just sprung, the fixture makers where well aware if Minors where defeated they would enter a back door system the next weekend...... But they fixed Under 21 and Minor this week anyway....in my eyes it was pure arrogance, then had to go back and cancel them it just looks so silly that they have done that.... i have a small bit of sympathy for Senior fixture.....

So was there correspondence to clubs that this problem may arise this weekend?

Out of interest what was the attendance like at Carrickmore on Saturday evening?

Not good at all. Was very surprised at how small the crowd was

It was 1-10 to 1-08 with 25 mins gone in second half then McNulty scored his goal to wrap it up. I

Apologies, I thought Dungannon pulled away slightly earlier.
But this reinforces the point that when the chips were down loughmacrory were found wanting.

This idiot clearly has an agenda v Loughmacrory, dont fall into it. 3 defeats all year for what I am lead to believe is a very young, up and coming team is not bad going, and I would imagine 95% of fans would gladly take that

No agenda, Very good young team, and as I stated previously I hope they don't get into a habit of not showing up on the big day

Young Loughmacrory team bottling it in the big games again.
Hope for their own sake they don't get into a habit of it

Were you at the game? We were three down with about 5 to go and Dungannon added 2-2 on the break while we were looking goals. Hardly bottling it. Three defeats all year means it can definitely go down as a good season. Lads will have learned plenty.

Yes I was at the game, and they were not 3 down with 5 to go. But I do get your point that the scoreline did not reflect how the game went.
However from a neutral perspective lough never looked like catching Dungannon.

Have been consistent in league yes but 3 biggest games in the last 2 years (2 championship games and promotion playoff) have resulted in defeats.
Which begs the question, how they can be so consistent all year but not show up on the big days.

Tyrone were very poor yesterday (With the exception of Colly Cavanagh), its a good job Monaghan are as bad as they are.
if we play like that against the Dubs it will be over at half time.
I would expect Tyrone to have a much better performance though and hopefully put it up to them

Odds for Tyrone Senior championship

Dromore 10/3
Killyclogher 4/1
Omagh 9/2
Coalisland 6/1
Clonoe 13/2
Trillick 15/2
Errigal 8/1
Carrickmore 11/1
Ardboe 12/1
Pomeroy 20/1
Edendork 40/1
Greencastle 50/1
Galbally 66/1
Donaghmore 66/1
Urney  80/1
Strabane 100/1

Thoughts? Carrickmore and Errigal both look appealing odds considering the draw.

Pomeroy - 20/1, 4 County men, Up from Intermediate, Sounds like a familar sotry from 2 years ago!! Worth a bet?

I would have fancied them as an outside bet before the draw was made but not now with the draw they've got. Killyclogher and then the winners of Dromore/Clonoe

Pretty sure that Trillick - 2008 Intermediate Champions beat Clonoe - 2008 Senior Champions in 2009 SFC first round, so this kind of result has happened before if i'm not mistaken.

Not saying it's impossible just don't think they are a good bet now especially with having to play Dromore or Clonoe if they do manage to beat Killyclogher

Did anyone who watched the Golf on sky sports last night think they showed very little coverage of McIlroy compared to what they usually do.
Wondering if it has something to do with the whole Trump story.

Wouldn't have thought so it's the first day of a 4 day Championship you never expect to see a lot of one person on the first day... if he was challenging come Sunday and you didn't see him then you could make that point.

Fair point. Just thought I noticed a few tees where they showed Matsuyama and DJ yet never showed Rory but maybe I'm wrong
