Surely if video was used he must have been in the clear. I was at the game and the opposing supporters should also be brought up for aggravating the situation even further

i agree totally that he should miss the final but my point is that we should not be out to condem him, i have never played competitive football but some people just see a mist of red becasue they are so involved and caught up in it (Roy Keane for Example), Brendan has given alot for laois football and we should appreciate that and not condem him and let county board do that within the rules of the game.

what quigley done was wrong and everyone is against him and wants him to miss the final but on the other hand when he puts on the county jersey we all support him.  strange how the game works.  quigley will be missed but with the o'connors, foyles and martin bergin they might cause a small bit of a surprise.

as a big fan of laois football and especially Portlaoise as to what they have achieved this ranks up there with their best performance to come back from 6 down against that breeze.  Credit Malachy and the lads.

Portlaoise the most unluckiest team to loose over the weekend, had Dempseys on the rack who will now go on to win it and regain their senior status, I was very impressed with Portlaoise and can see a number of them called up to the senior squad.  I was also at the Rock/Timahoe game and if Timahoe perform like that they will not stand a chance but if they up their game it will make for an interesting final but with Quigley gone I think Dempseys will have to much fro then

I think Portlaoise got their annual warning last weekend and cant see them loosing the replay. I was at the u-21 final last year and was very impressed with St.Josephs so if they bring that form again it will be a close encounter.  Stradbally looked best team over the entire weekend.  Interesting games coming up.

I have seen both play also and they are both good teams, park were impressive against Portlaoise although Portlaoise were very poor on the night, did not see the Rosenallis game but I heard they were also impressive, as for who is over them you are correct in saying Patrick Dunne and he is the guy from the Rock, not sure of his age but I do know he had a serious leg break and this stopped him playing and he was on the fringe of a Laois panel at the time, he is not alone there tho as a guy by the name of Kenny Farrell is joint manager with him, he is from Rosenallis and was playing up until last year and was a very good player, possibly the best Rosenallis produced and as far as I know he only gave up playing this year to take charge with Patrick as they were very impressive over their u-21s last season, Chrisy Smith from Portarlington is over Park and he again boasts a lot of experience, and for mouthy on the side lines, what GAA team is not??
