They've got a virtual bye to the Semis now that the game against us is set to be played at Healy Park under Floodlights. No doubt a few Brown Envelopes being sent to the Tyrone Board, I guess.

btw, Is it true that the Tyrone Champions meet the Derry Champions in the Ulster Club 1st Round? Hoping, more now than ever, that Ballinderry win the Derry Championship if Dromore beat us in the QFs.

Yeah certainly a favourable venue. Always favour the west in these decisions. Ardboe i suspect would be rubbing their hands at this tie if the venue was dungannon or coalisland. Now there(sic) faced with the flight to omagh. Suppose the county board wants money for omagh with the half time draw, your man over omagh needs his money

Might even blame jet lag for a defeat ;D

I am sure Kyle Coney is glad to know he has a bum chum in Tommy McGuigan ::)
I wouldnt say that rant is that well informed or accurate. To start at the beginning, who is Keith O'Hara, now who would want to mark him???
How well does Brian Meenan know Jerome McElroy exactly?
Is Dean O'Neill young?
Is Colm McGurk marking Enda McGinley?

:D :D Thought the same Roddy...And ffs man use some paragraphs  :D

To be fair I only read the Coalisland bit, and hes the only man to have the american situation bang on.
Predictions

Dromore vs Moy- Dromore by 4 or 5, abit too proffessional to be overturned by a Sean Cavanghless Moy.
Killyclogher vs Coalisland- I dont make prediction on the blues.
Errigal vs Carmen- Errigal, dont know why its just a hunch.
Omagh vs Donaghmore- Heart says Donaghmore, head says Omagh, so Omagh by 2-3
Ardboe vs greencastle - Greencastle, Ardboe have to be the most overated team this year, i know ill get barrated for it but its what i think will happen.
I don't know what this is but it sounds awful.  ;D

can't see coalisland repeating their heroics from last year, unless they get a right few of their squad back, though i still think they'll overcome killyclogher! and yes seen dromore once this year, thought they looked very impressive, very low-key/under the readar approach this year. this might suit them. ardboe have struggled this year for consistency, greencastle will give them a game, but ardbow will prevail! maybe even a moortown-ardboe QF wouldnt be too bad!

I heard that Coalisland have all their players back from the states and should be at full stregth for the championship. Therefore, they should be in with a good shout.
Doubtful if returning Coalisland players will be eligible to line out for them

Wrong-Prior to the weekends exit from the championship a Eglish player proclaimed that Greencastle were granted points and that this was a long standing arrangement between the two clubs. He also said that Derrlaughan would be gifted two points in the final league game! Maybe this lie down and take it up the ass approach had an influence on their performance yesterday?

Of course now the final league game is a no contest as Derrylaughan successfully dealt with Cookstown, and i fully expect them to secure survival against Eglish. Will the magician Morrison be on the line? Will the valentines card be changed for a farewell or deepest sympathy card?

Absolute brown!!! I am an Eglish player and i can tell you that we granted no one points. The Greencastle was approached like any other game we'd played all year and we were beaten because we were complacent and Greencastle wanted it more. I'd like to find out though who this player you were talking to is as he seems to be working as somewhat of a double agent!
Seems to me you may be something of a double agent yourself. You say you're an Eglish player yet you list your club as Dungannon!!LOL

As a matter of interest what is the criteria for being best equipped to win Ulster?

Errigal are the only team from Tyrone to win it and it was a time when we had a team full of excellent footballers more than physical players. To win Tyrone a team has to be physical but to win Ulster good footballers are needed more. Carmen could win Tyrone easy some years but could never make the break through in Ulster. IMO this is due to them being more physical than football orientated.

When Errigal were doing well in Ulster getting out of Tyrone was the hardest bit.
Current Cmore line up much more interested in playing ball but I'm sure can still stand up for themselves in physical stakes. Have played best football in Tyrone this year. It's either them or Dromore for cship IMO.

Bit optimistic to say Suarez might score 40 goals this season particularly when he does an impersonation of Diana Ross at the 94 world cup

Yet another example of the lack of professionalism by RTE journalists. Do they bother to check their stories or is it just a case of creating a stir by saying McMenamin isn't in the squad? In saying that they cant' be too au fait when they missed the fact that according to their info then Stephen O'Neill won't feature on the bench either.

Is O'neill injured or is Micky up to his old tricks, i c he's not named in the 26 for sat.
officially each team can only name 26 players. After the sub keeper these are listed in alphabetical order. That's why Mc Menamin and O'Neil aren't in the 26. Come match day there will be full squad on the bench. Think O'Neill wore number 30 last week for his 10 seconds on the pitch

Has Mickey Harte ever been beaten twice in succession in the Championship by the same opposition manager?
Don't think so. Could Jim Mc Guinness be the first?

two tricky assigments for the top two in intermediate this weekend. Not nice places to go away to on a friday night although iits a shame rock get to play clann without their county men!  :o
Heard that Rock might not be playing the Clans at all- apparently Clans not going to appear as they argue that this was not originally a starred game-Friday's entire programme subject to change yet.

Heard Marty Morrissey nearly had a canary when Kildare went 3 points up in extra time. Jumping out of his seat like a true Lilywhite supporter. Believe he was slightly deflated at the finish. So much for the impartiality of the TV commentator.
