Maybe NY & Coughlin might run out of patience with him after his previous misdemeanour in going awol in October..... If they do no doubt Jerry Jones will be lickin his chops down in Dallas at the thought of Burress with Pacman & the other screw ups ;D

Me thinks Tom Coughlin wont be aiming for his leg if he gets hold of the gun...... >:(

Even though he's plainly a jackass, if its serious enough to keep him out long term he will be a big loss

Just give Johnson a 50/50 chance at a ball in the air and he'll do the business. But him apart......... An awful kick in the balls to be the supposed best/most valuable player in college football and end up in a rudderless shambles of an organisation like Detroit though. Hard to know where to statt with the improvements there.....its finger in the dam type stuff

Poor ol' Matt Hasselbeck is spending the night on his ass courtesy of the Cowboys......

Fair pressure on McNabb tonight in Phillie.......maybe given the Cards dislike of traveling east it might be an easier game but kits end of an era if he doesnt pull out a big game tonight

It seems to be a Thanksgiving tradition that the Lions are on Sky Sports.... :'(
The 13 yards punt was particularly comical. If Rod Marinelli is not gone after this, I dunno what else he can do to top this shite!

Seahawks - Cowboys could be a no-contest too.

Hope the late game makes up for it......

The Giants are some team....no Jacobs and no Plaxico and still comfortable against Cardinals.

QuoteCoughlan, (who I refuse to pronounce Coholan) is another decent backup type back row, wit potential to advance. They'll become important for Munster as the likes of Wallace and Quinlan disappear.

Coughlan announced at the start of the season that this will be his last in a Munster jersey. Seems an awful waste but he's been playing AIL all season so you can't blame.

You can't blame him for that alright, but I suspect it may be Quinlan's last meaningful season as well, so Coughlan and Ronan might be in with a chance of playing more games. Is Coughlan intending to head abroad?

Connacht should be getting some players like that. There's a young hooker up there, another Munster man who I can't remember his name now, that may come back into the fold when Frankie hangs up his boots as well.
Sean Cronin is the hooker in question.  Played AIL with Shannon these past few years before heading up the road.  Massive potential and I have no doubt he will be a full international before too long.  Delighted for Warwick last night, he was superb during his time with us, but to be honest I prefer having young Keatley playing at 10 for us this season as he is the type of young Irish player that should be coming to the Sportsground and stepping up in grade from the AIL and hopefully to full international some day.

I'd say we will have Keatley, Fionn Carr and Sean Cronin for at most 2 more years before one of the big two whip them back home.....

While I understand that Munster and Leinster are the big money spinners for the IRFU, I dont see why they require the size of squad they have. Munsters 2nd string being so strong that they almost bear an All Blacks team.....theres strength in depth but thats plain ridiculous!! Surely the likes of Manning, Ronan, Coughlan, Denis Hurley and others would be better served playing rugby week in week out with Connacht rather than gathering splinters in Musgrave Park/Thomond. If Coughlan is allowed to retire without Connacht talking to him its a disgrace.....

And John Fogarty/Stephen Knoop headed up to the capital to warm the bench when they were first teamers in Connacht. It must be the money cos Galway aint that bad!

Coughlan & Ronan would be more than welcome at the Sportsground. As would any of the Munster team last night. Won't happen though since the IRFU treats Connacht like a bit of dirt on its shoe......... :'(

Well done to Paul Warwick especially......fine game apart from that moment of madness at the end

Thats a shock...a huge surprise he was even in the last 3! Any word on a backroom team...ud imagine he'd want something impressive goin on to have swung it. Expect David Forde to be captain while it doesnt look good for lads like Cyril Donnellan given McIntyre's columns in the Tribune earlier this year.

The selectors are John Hardiman, John Moylan & Joe Connolly. Hardiman is supposedly a serious operator and rumour has it he turned down approaches from Gerlock to get involved last year.

Forde will hardly be captain....he would be blessed to make the 15!

Reports suggest we have it narrowed down to three candidates from the original eight.....Michael Bond, Noel Lane & John McIntyre. An announcement is likely tomorrow night. I've a feeling Bond has it sewn up. Whats the Offaly/Tipp opinion of McIntyre? Would he do any good with them?

What's up with leamy and Horgan? They off form?
leamys only coming back from injury

i think they have o leary in to protect o gara. he is a better tackler than reddan. nz will target to run at rog.

Some competition in that back row once Leamy is fit......with Jennings, Wallace, Heaslip, Ferris, Quinlan and maybe a few more that are unlucky to make the squad.

Id say with a good running backline like what we have there, the faster they get the ball the better. O'Leary will get it there quicker than Reddan...plus the added protection he will give ROG as you said.

Some surprises there....would have thought Kearney to full back with Horgan to the wing was more likely than the return of Dempsey. Horgan not on 22 at all now  :o
Not a bad move getting O'Leary in at scrum half IMO.....Reddan's delivery is too slow and is a bit Boss-esque in taking a step before passing almost all the time.

Front row changes are good and will improve things there. Ferris and Jennings will feel hard done by but hard to argue with Quinlan and Wallaces inclusion. Maybe Jenninsg would have been a more suitable match against McCaw???

Theres alot of us in the same boat here it seems.....i work in the financial services sector and have been told I have til the end of the month at best. Mortgage on my own, probable negative equity. And job prospects not hectic....no one hiring. Needless to say, lifes been better.

I was walking down O'Connell Steet yesterday on way to a recruitment consultants office when i looked at the main thoroughfare in the country and saw something that made me realise why the country is in the shits.....a 60ft high artificial xmas tree. A French one. Worth €350,000. Turned down the free one offered by the Norwegian Embassy as a token of their thanks. So the country is in the financial shits with unemployment rising at rates not seen in 20 years and we are getting the frogs to make and erect a €350000 montrosity. A "beacon of hope amid the recession" they call it.......I call it a kick in the teeth for everyone that is struggling because we have a shower of clowns in charge of the country.

€350k would vaccinate alot of young girls against cervical cancer.........
