GAA Discussion / Re: Gaelic Life

The Gaelic Life were very generous in making our club in Leeds the feature of their Club Focus article. Very easy folks to work with and put together a great spread for us.

By the way, if anyone is coming this way (Yorkshire - Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, Bradford, etc) for work or studies in the coming months and are interested to get involved with a competitive and friendly football club with close ties also to other local Hurling and Ladies Football teams then please get in touch.

another enjoyable watch from his mid-90's inter county pomp - a video that has been described on another thread as gaelic footballing porn! this would've been a true championship match, with no back door for the loser, and two excellent sides at the time with real all-ireland aspirations. for many tyrone fans this might be their most memorable ulster championship victory ever.

Some kick up from HJC about the new jersey. Whilst they have the sympathy of everyone involved with the club they don't need to be consulted on everything. Moving the flames to the back of the jersey is hardly a major insult.

scousers suffer from a huge entitlement complex, on this issue they could do with catching themselves on, moaning tw@ts

dromore and carrickmore have dragged the gaa in tyrone back in the gutter today. league match between these two teams was played today on a neutral ground as part of the punishment to both teams. supporters from both teams stayed away from the game, both clubs fielded minor teams and they fixed the match well before the start. the game ended 3-4 each and they both stuck two fingers up to the gaa arranging this farce. this needs more attention. hellow utv, bbc, rte?

auck wud ye weesht, nothing to see here move along, blah

Exceptional talent wouldn't have looked out of place in the 1998 Galway forward line. Always sad to see top players unable to recover from injury.

absolutely true, massive loss to Galway and the game if he has to hang up the boots. unplayable more often than not from an oppositions point of view, like Joe Canning for the hurlers it could be a damage limitations exercise with Michael Meehan playing in the FF line

It's that time of the year again, with pre-season about to kick into gear, the Christmas and New Year excess needs to be shifted! If you're based in Leeds and like the sound of improving your fitness, meeting new faces and being part of a friendly and successful club then get in touch with St Benedict's Harps. Both class acts. They won't be replaced. Nothing more to be said.

Tyrone reverting to the 13-a-side version of the game then?

Fecking legends the both of them!

very much like the Irish players said before the rugby quarter final, it's whoever turns up on the day
