Very poor from Reilly.
That free to Donaghy was a disgrace, then it was taken 10 metres in from where the "foul" was, then he let Donaghy away with acting the total tr**p not releasing the ball.........

Would some referee please book a player for standing in front of a quick free or falling on top of a player to stop a quick free
+1.
The very worst type of "cynicism".
Mayo are v poor yet.....

Arrived in Limerick three feckin hours early. I hear Tuam and company were clogged up to all hell since about 15 minutes after we passed through.

Limerick have Supermacs with bowling alleys. Amazing.
Did not think the roscommon minors were playing today unless you are there for the parade :)
Syfín is the world champion bandwagon jumper.
He'd sicken a patriot's hole  >:(
May it be a good game, may the best team win, hope ye all make it home before Wednesday...... May the pitch in Crker collapse under all that Yankee sh1te, may Donegal/Dublin be moved to to Thurles next Saturday...

The replay should be in Croke Park which it would have been if that eejity Yank nonsense hadn't been lumped into it in the middle of the busy big game period.

Can anyone find what was the actual wording of the oul Rule 27 abolished in 1971?

"Any member of the Association who plays or encourages in any way rugby, football, hockey or any imported game which is calculated to injuriously affect our National Pastimes, is suspended from the Association."
Football !!!!!!???

Well done Cavan.
At least Dublin and Kerry won't be doing a clean sweep of All Irelands.
Our stickmen bet Kerry in the U21 as well.... can Mayowestros make it a blank weekend for Kerry?

So we have vacancies in Wicklow, Laythrum, Down, Offaly, Westmeath, Carlow, Louth, Wexford, Waterford  and Armagh, Galway so far.
Question marks in Antrim, Cavan, Armagh, Galway, and maybe a few more Leinster Counties - Cork too possibly.
Depending on how the AI plays out Horan, Gavin, McGuinness may jump ship

Wicklow added.

Crazy crazy odds for a two horse race. Whilst I hope Dublin win against Donegal I think we could be in for a shocker
There must be a wall of money on Dublin. 3/10 to win Sam.

No wonder there s so little interest about for the Mayo/Kerry semi. Seems like a pointless acedemic exercise to most I think.

Sure someone has to get hammered by them in the Final :(

[. We should easily have the measure of this Kerry team, that's the reality. I said to a few Kerry lads that we would take them by 6 or more ...... Mayo people have an air of confidence about our team .

This kind of talk can only have a sad ending...... when will they ever learn?

Promotion was the goal at the start of the year, Peter Donnelly had a big say in the defensive style Cavan have developed, this year in the championship there was 10 players missing from the team that played Kerry last year through injury or travelling

next year should be better, hopefully and the style of play will change slightly too

ye fairly parked the bus against Mayo all the same and agaisnt Armagh
l
But we attacked them at some stage. Bad shootin at vital stages effd us up in both games.
Ye're bucks were still 13 or 14 behind the ball when ye were way behind in the second half against us.
Anyway we'll be renewing acquaintances ( near time ye came to the Hyde) next Spring in D2. Hopefully we'll both have made more progress by then.
I see Johneen is saying he's going to "freshen up" his back room. I wonder what has he up his cute sleevín  :-X

Terry might fancy staying but ...... have clubs/Co Board re appointed him?

He has a deal until 2016 so the clubs  didn't have to vote or relect him. It was after a meeting with the co board that he said he was staying on so I would assume they want him to continue?
I'd have thought he'd be in bother after this year's anaemic championship performances and his ultra defensive team set up.
Anyway I've drawn a line though Cavan in my last posting :).

RIP

IMO he was a decent man , unlike certain other FF leaders.
I couldn't believe it when they announced the peace process. It was so easy to think our Northern Correspondent Poilin ni Chiarain would retire talking about a bombing last night on the Falls Road. Took a lot of guts to engage and believe in the project.

I think he brought McCreevy in from the wilderness as well, not one of his better days.
I suppose every hero has one black spot  :-[

Albert Reynolds did a great deal to bring about the conditions for the 1994 ceasefire, which set the wheels in motion that led to any subsequent progress. This concentration on the peace process probably distracted him from other issues and may well have contributed to his short tenure as Taoiseach.

He was a businessman, he did great work in the previous decade in bringing Irish telecoms into the modern era in part because he realised the important to business of this. I imagine that had he continued to have influence in more recent years that he would not have been so quick to build an economy on people building and selling houses to each other, but might have shown some concern for the real economy and so limited the damage caused by speculators.
+1.
Another great Ros man gone from us.
Like others from or connected with our County he lead Ireland to being a better place.
