Which, imo, is entirely how it should be - just as I have never had an insurmountable problem with the  exclusively Nationalist emblems etc on display at rugby internationals at Lansdowne, even though that team is meant to represent both jurisdictions on the island...

I don't get the bit about exclusive nationalist symbols on display at LR for rugby games.
Wasn't Willie John on display for decades.
The Ulster flag is flown alongside the tricolour.

If the Ulster flag and Irelands Call don't do it, then come up with another Ulster flag and an Ulster Anthem that reflects the positive aspirations of all the people in NI.
NI is not just about a Unionist jurisdiction.

The way forward is to develop relations with the AFL so that both codes can come to some understanding over the issue. There is no future in friction.
I doubt that any EL soccer clubs would be too happy about seeing their top first team proven talent go abroad without any compensation.

The GAA players are already proven talent, should be educated enough to weigh up the decision and mature enough to make it work. Couldn't compare it to the situ of hundreds of very young kids going to English soccer clubs  with a minimal chance of doing much better than if they stayed at home.

I am being slightly faecetious - tony reckoned in the past ROI flags should be on display at NI games also.
Would that have a similar effect as to when the Ring was thrown into the Mt Doom volcano :)

Have you any opinion on the latest developments?
Using the debate logic of Nolan, Shamrock Rovers spokesperson,
this GAA statement proves to the general public that the GAA want Rovers playing there.

Nolan
"If they were to take out an injunction than that would really show to the general public that they don't want us playing there. If they really truly have no problem with us playing there, they'd be behind the plan 100 per cent as well."

Quote"it's time Shamrock Rovers took the bull by the horns on this and that's what we're doing."

It certainly is time, how many years sitting on their arses leaving the unfinished project to rot?
Pity to have the ground unused because of the court case.

So now Dublinfella you can use "We" in reference to your connection with Rovers and not to be too embarrased by it and not have to feel that you have to masquerade as a GAA fella. You were feckin hopeless at it anyway.

I see that Rovers spokesperson still thinks there are gaa boggers under his bed ready with their masterplan to wipe soccer out of existance.
