7 all stars for Monaghan ??? You're definitely taking the urine !

7 sounds like a lot but when i looked at it man for man, id probably say they were deserved.
Which one(s) you think should not have got one? and who would you have had in instead?  ???

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

was at the game on Friday night in Omagh. Fair play to Donaghmore, they were deserving winners. Probably should have led by more at half time for all their possession.
In Niall McGinn they have a real livewire, very very pacy and prepared to run at his man at every opportunity, hit a few good free's too. Hughes in midfield went through a mountain of work, kind of reverted to a sweeping role at times and it worked well.

Was a pale shadow the Errigal team from last year. I suppose losing key players was a big factor too. Thought pascal canavan played well, still as brave as a lion and physically in very good order.Enda McGinley hit two very good points in the second half.

IMHO the ref was harsh on Donaghmore near the end and gave errigal every opportunity to get back into it. Canavan's late miss from a 21 yard free was surprising, had it went over and brought it to a point with a couple of mins to go id say they may have scraped a draw.

GAA Discussion / Re: New Armagh Manager Announced

Be very interesting to see where big Paul goes from here, as Max touched on he has already cut all ties with cavan so he must have been pretty confident of getting the post and I for one Im surprised he didnt.

But with all county boards, its all about money and politics.

"You scratch my back, i'll scratch yours" kinda mentality.

General discussion / Re: 1st day at school

the old cliche rings true; "Your school days are the best of your life!"

Running round with your mates kicking ball and not a care in the world.  ;D

the only thing you had to worry about was what you would tell your ma happened the hole in the knee of your trousers!

I caught the tail end of this today on the radio!
Wonder how much the player is getting for all his efforts!  :D

Heard it will be Grimley with possibly McGeeney as assistant

But hard to imagine Geezer going to the trainings and not joining in himself!
especially if the thing was not being done right!

Captain Scarlet, your right on current form, Richie Bennis has to be a certainty!  :D

He said yesterday when asked were his players on a sex ban leading up to the final,

" There is no sex ban - we're encouraging it. In fact, we're bringing a few girls in!"  :D

Great to have a few genuine characters left in the game!

Official one; Glenn Johnson of Chelsea has signed for Portsmouth. Not too surprising seeing as he was on loan there last year.
