Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

Do not be silly snappiered my son.  Do not expect any shocks this weekend.  Fianna to kickass Loughmacrory, Dromore to humiliate Galbally, Ardboe to maul Cookstown, Clonoe to torpedo Donaghmore; moy to whup Kildress, Errigal to annhilate Killeeshill.

I agree ff -now is the time to give them young lads a chance.  In reality Clonoe will implode, they done so last year against Errigal so the Carmen tradition should be enough even with several relative newcomers.  They are very much at their level in division 1b but will struggle to make an impact in the championship.  Theres bigger fish to fry in the future, look at wee Peter he has hardly kicked a ball this year.  Barney and all will be time enough for a couple of months.

As for the Dungannon lady in question, the only thing I can remember that she was very pretty and her father owned a Jewellers and I think she kicked with the other foot.

GAlbally topping the league after how many 5 games,  you wouldnt have predicted it.  Always a big physical team they can certainly make their mark on the championship but its going to be so competitive this year.

Fully expect the tradition of clubs like Carmen, Ardboe, Errigal and Fianna to have major impacts on the club championship  this year.  I put them above this Dromore team who are a very good league team and full of fight.  Killyclogher will struggle to reachieve.

Could you imagine fearlessly throwing yourself  into the middle of a ruck of 3 other midfielders to claim a loopy kickout,  putting your thumbs around the leather taking er into the chest storming through a brick wall of mdifield muscle only to realise you have dropped your nose grip, its quite uncomfortable and you have to go back in there again.

I admire anyone who plays gaelic sports with glasses, particularly hurling and camogie.

As for Tyrone, can't deny they have been a great side in the past, but we are more then capable of beating them (they seem to be living on past reputations. Also Fermanagh may have something to say about who's in the semis against us!
Bollix. So Donegals already in the semis.  I suppose the party still going strong celebrating Sundays big win.  Enjoy it to the full.. lads.

Whats the story Loughshore on the Mc guigan fundraising initiative?  I am all in favour of Brian Mc G getting a lump sum from club Tyrone as is their lot or indeed a local fundraiser,  but is there a danger that if a clonoe player was heard in a club match that he would be ignored?  CAn you explain to me that no precedents are being set by this. Mc Guigan has been handled disgracefully by the county board obviously and its a disgrace the man was out of pocket, as I said I just want this explained to me.

i thought Shamrock rovers went out of business a couple of years ago.  Who is trying to bring them back into business.  Have they shares?  Will Rovers own or simplY have use of the ground?  It would be a valuable plot to own.
