80€ for all seated tickets in the Ireland finals. Anyone else think the top/high tier tickets should be cheaper probably 60€?

It's not a huge hit if you are Single going to the match. If you are going with 2 sons then the hit is €240. I remember getting a ticket behind the Davin end goal, it was a great view if you wanted the goalkeapers perspective on the game. Found it gas to be playing the same as some one in the Hogan on the 40 yard line. The pricing of games is heading back to joke levels. The Gaa took a break on increases during the recession. But it's full stream ahead now.
The problem with the Davin is that in hurling if you are down low the bloody netting is a distraction

I agree with you. 60 would be enough especially when you are really up the top.

Kerry just cannot take their beatings. Whether its Cork in the 90s , Tyrone in the 00s or Dublin in the last four years Kerry will never be gracious enough to accept that other teams were better. Have a read of Weeshie Fogartys book and you will get evety excuse for a Kerry defeat except the fact that the opposition were better.

I think any sympathy there was for Mayo is well gone seeing as they have so many opportunities to win All Irelands. The bottm line here is that if Mayo can get a top performance out of each member of  the team for 70 minutes there is no reason why they cannot win. They are a talented bunch of players but no one is going to give them Sam. They have to go out and earn it.  Dublin and Jim Galvin are too crafty to fall in to a complacency trap. Personally I dont believe all this 1 versus 31 crap about Dublin. I know plenty of different county people who were delighted to see the Kerry crew and their media pals eat humble pie.

There is talk of Dublin representing Ireland in the Olympics in Tokyo.

Let's see how they get on in the 6 nations first.

Will they be able to do without the players they are lending Pittsburgh for the Super Bowl?

Go the Steelers!

No Need to have of the Qualifier or QF games in Croke Park, the exception being the Dubs game. Its Crazy stuff, bringing Mayo, Westmeath, Cork and Donegal to Dublin.
I may be wrong but I think having QFs in Croke Park is a condition listed when they were selling corporate and premium boxes.

Have a look at the betting. Paddy Power seems tohave more faith in Ross than a lot here. Clare at the end of the day will always only go so far.

So much for that theory!!

Its great that rumour and "no smoke without fire" has replaced evidence as a means of convicting people.
Nearly as good as "known to the Gardai" and "we know who did it but just cant get the evidence"
We have the same with Philip Cairns Fr Molloy etc

I dont know is there the ambition in Cork to kick on to the q/fs. The Longford game took a lot of time to control and it really was a poor enough win

i think Chelsea will win it this season.  They already have a good squad that was perhaps mismanaged initially.  I think they'll also bring in a couple of quality signings... kante could be a big plus.

but sure what the feck do i know... i'll be watching channel 5 for villa this season.
Let us know how Jack Grealish is progressing. Hope he had a nice summer watching the Euros from his couch while getting ready to tackle( Grealish tackle! Thats a laugh) the might of the Championship

be sure to hit Westport and Louisburgh. Theres a few beaches beyond Louisburgh that are almost deserted. Beautiful Clew Bay in front of you and Croagh Patrick behind you. On a sunny day its a little bit of heaven. Top off with a few nice creamy pints in Louisburgh

I think the Nana is still alive in her mid 90s!
Caroline Ahern was a great talent and well able to imitate British working class women
