Five Times, you have won one more All Ireland than Wexford, though unlike Down, they have long since stopped boasting

Sorry boys, haven't been on line since Saturday so missed this invitation. My tickets came from a true blue dub, so therefore I wasn't going to don a Meath jersey for any number of pints!

As for the game, exciting finish, great atmosphere (only Dubs fans can produce this atmosphere I must admit), and both sides have some excellent players, but neither has enough of these to be in serious contention for trophies methinks.

Disappointed with the Meath support, it wasn't there in any great numbers as far as I could see, and what were those 5 or 6 eejits in Meath jersies at on the Hill at, nearly causing a riot at half time?. Dublin goal was a square ball and Geraghty (still an excellent player) should have had a penalty in the second half, apart from this Jimmy Mc Kee, the referee, did Armagh proud

I am beginning to think I'm a lucky mascot for Colm Coyle. I was in the Hogan in 96 when he scored the equaliser against Mayo and was at Clones when he led Monaghan to the miraculous win over Armagh in 03.

On the subject of Coyle, am I the only one that thinks Moyles, the current Meath captain, is a dead ringer for him, even the way he runs?

Er I think if you check my post, you will find that I did not mention anything about Neill Lennon playing in the Mc Rory Cup nor was his photo in connection with a Mc Rory side. I can confirm that there is a photo of Neil, baby faced with a full wee head of ginger hair, with a St Michael's High or Grammar School team circa 1984. Seamie Heffron has a full head of black hair in the same photo!

There is also the team sheet/programme from the Ulster Minor Football  Final of 1989, with Neil at right half forward on the minor team that day, alongside the likes of Cathal O'Rourke, and Neil's photo has been extracted from the team photograph.

Bud, greetings to you and I hope your health is well. Not in the Premium on Sunday, Upper Hogan, not sure where as I'm picking the tickets on Sunday morning in Ath Cliath. Will keep an eye out for you. It is two years almost since we shared a glass. Far too long!

On a point of clarification, I did have a meeting with an OWC Contributor which was highly amiable and cordial. I agreed to end permanently my spurious and admiitedly at times over the top attacks. However, just as many things within the GAA continue to concern the OWC Contributor, many things about the IFA continue to concern me and therefore I feel I have a right to air these in a logical and respectful manner (as the OWC member continues to do about the GAA on the OWC site).

I feel this appoinment is a joke and disagree with

a) the existence of four so called British Associations (that are after all under one political constitutional entity)

b) the perpetutal right of those four so called Britsh Associations to nominate a Vice President.

This is neither confrontational nor sectarian and in no way does it contravene the agreement I reached with the OWC Contributor

Wonder will that fcukwit Mc Cartney, so opposed to the agreement from Day one, return his 15,000 quid, or give it to charity, as he said he would do with the salaries from all of the different seats he was going to win at the recent Assembly elections >:(

On the other hand that should take care of Paul Berry's Physio bills for a while ;D

Ziggy, that brings back memories of the toilets, sorry the Portaloos at the state of the art MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey, when the planners decided that television standard floodlights exceeded proper toilets in terms of importance

Two complimentary Hogans have been placed at my disposal  ;D, so I am going to witness at first hand a modern clash of the Leinster giants (well the last one I witnessed in the flesh was the 1990 Leinster Final). Looking forward to comparing and contrasting the intesnity of this clash, with that of the Ulster Championship, particularly last week's Armagh Donegal game

Watch out for a full report next week :)

Stew.

I had no hand nor part in Mac's banning from this Board. I will raise the issue however at the next OWC/GAA Summit Tallks ;D

I have never supported the banning of anyone. Everyone is entitled to air their views, in my opinion

If you thinks thats bad, check out "Northern Ireland's National Newspaper", the Belfast Telegraph, owned by the Dublin luminary Anthony O'Reilly. This paper virtually ignores GAA affairs, despite the GAA being Ulster's most popular sport. You will never see a GAA preview on the sports back page preceding a big Ulster Championship game and even the Tyrone Armagh All Ireland Final clash in 2003, which was the biggest sporting event in the history of the six counties captivating most interest, failed to make it onto Anto's rag's back pages.

To be fair to the BBC, they do take cognisance of reality and give due coverage to the FAI International team and GAA affairs

Norf, let me sleep on it...I'll give you an answer in the morning! ;D

Stew, some good concerts there. Saw Springsteen and Thorogood at Slane myself and am returning there in August to see the Stones, though I saw the same show last year at Twickenham
