apologies for not being clear, another refereeing fault, player too close to his own player when taking a free? what should be the outcome?

Think it's rule 4.11 A - free kick from where the foul occurred.

Can anybody confirm the urban myth that when a guy called Fra Dick played for a club in Belfast, his Irish name on the teamsheet was shown as Proinsias O'Toole ??

GAA Discussion / Re: Leading with the Boot.

also at our last two clubs games the ref has allowed lads to lead into tackles ith the boot plus a keano style lunge went unpunished.

What's the story and is this a common thing elsewhere?

2 options - either do him for jumping at an opponent or blocking / attempting to block with the boot.

I have just set up a new organisation........"Gaels Against Being Silenced Harshly In Their Environment".

G.A.B.S.H.I.T.E. has been set up primarily to promote freedom of speech on the St. Enda's GAC website. The era of Section 31 has returned & we must speak out fearlessly against censorship by ruthless Administrators.

It has also been set up to promote philosophy, cultural discourse and debate (a laudable aim that I'm sure that the Underhand Bapmuncher would be in full agreement with), rather than having people using a GAA club as a means of promoting violent contact sports.

Just confirmed-the "Underhand Bapmuncher" (for he likes his full title & employs a secretary now just to deal with his fan mail) cannot cope with Microsoft Word. Fadas seem to present a particular difficulty.

ECDL course & an Irish 'O' Level next semester for you !!!

As Dr. Smith used to say "Oh the shame, the shame".

Am starting a new thread on here, cos the Administrator of www.stendas.com is a friend of the "Underhand Bapmuncher" & censors all posts on the club's message board.

Never mind the refs, exactly how much training would an average Division 6 footballer do?

There's supposed to be a fitness coach going to the Antrim Referees' meeting in Ballymena on Feb 18th to tell you what stage your fitness should be at this time of year & laying out a training programme.

It'll be like the Ibrox fecking disaster as all the refs try to get out the door before he starts his talk.

Slim - you've an unfair advantage.

All that trudging into the back of the net to pick out the ball after you've let in another 1 must keep you as fit as feck.

No wonder the referees' fitness test was a piece of piss for ya !!

See you @ Woodlands or All Saints, Slim. 6 laps of the pitch for a warm-up & a big boke upon finishing.

Slag all yez want. Most of you haven't the balls to even try to referee & the fitness tests would kill you. It's easy to sit on some website slagging people off, bit harder when you're out in the middle.
