The standard of munster club hurling surely has to be asked today. hopefully while throwing that thought out- I'll get some reasoned debate rather than the bullshit I have to listen to on some of the nOrthern threads. I know De La Salle had a bad day- but they weren't a very good team anyway in all honesty bar a couple of players.

It was strange to see Wexford outmuscle a team (considering we have had such a small team over the last few years), your backs really need to stand up and not get dominated. Banville won't have it as easy next time
Banville is the type of player who looks a nightmare to mark. He makes himself so big under the dropping ball that a back would even struggle to get their stick near the ball, never mind their hand.
That's why David Kenny is so vital to Offaly. In the 2007 league relegation play off, Offaly conceded 6 goals to Limerick, mostly from high bombs not being dealth with. Kenny played full back the next year and the platform for Offaly beating Limerick last year was Kenny cleaning up everything that landed near the square and Offaly having a clean sheet.
Hopefully Wexford have shown Offaly their hand too early
