As a neutral I had no preference as to who wins todays game all i wanted was a good game of football and yet again the ref made a total balls up! Them cnuts are spoiling gaelic football from the roots right up to senior county. I know we cant be without them but like players they should be banned for shocking performances aswell!!

Sad news about The Doyler, going to be a big miss for Down against Offaly  and for the rest of our march to Croker this year! Cant see who could replace him possibly bring John Clarke back to centre half. Hopefully season dosen go over in a whimper after the great effort put in so far.. By the way Uladh sice you have always so much to say about Armagh could you not lend a few of those words to that new manager of yours ( McDonnell ) Never heard as much shite talk in a post mach interview in all my days, the best being, RIDING THE DONKEY TOO CLOSE TO THE TAIL....ah only in armagh!!!  ::) ;D

can someone answer me a question please.

Hugh Davey??(and yes its a question)

is someone having a laugh re: the amount of shamrocks players on that down panel.

Great call here brick i would like to know the same, why are there so many shamrocks boys on the panel? Obviously DJ aswell as having a laugh is also getting a back hander from someone. You would see it if they were anyway half decent but they would struggle to get into many of the Div. 1 teams in the county and that isnt exactly gracious is it!

Down needed Liam Doyle and Benny Coulter firing on all cylinders, and that they did not have.

Agree totally but as we have been saying for the last number of years its about time the others stepped up to the plate. Yes Liam and Benny are two of the most quality ball players in the modern game but if we are honest we are carring a few who dont seem to want to roll the sleeves up when the pressure is on. IMO hughes, murtagh rafferty etc, have all had too many chances and although still young have been great servants, however, is there any others in the county that could replace them?

Are the ford really that much better than the other teams in this league as the table suggests? Could they be concidered as possible championship contenders?
