Fully support the claim to make Dublin play some of their Championship games outside of Croke Park. If everyone else has to, why shouldn't they??

On the topic, have any of you ever drove down to San Diego from there? Was looking at maybe doing this in the middle of my stay, its about 4 hours which isn't too bad, have seen San Francisco & L.A.

Hear San Diego is beautiful, beach etc..

Same old pomeroy by the looks of it, regardless of having 3 U21 all Ireland winners.

What would your views on signing Vidal be Walter? Lot of reports today suggesting he will join after Copa America, as his agent is also Sanchez' agent...

Anyone had "hip impingement" (FAI). Been plaguing me as last 6 months any time I do heavy running at training eg: sprints & sharp turns/twists, as well as sprints on my own on treadmill, 400m runs etc.

Physio has given hip mobility programme, which I've been doing 3-4 times a week , but it only warms the joint up, giving it a better range of motion again. After a game or training its back to square one and I'm limping... and now its spread into the groin.

Could this be symptoms of a hernia or has anyone had this?

Agreed, pace is key, If only we could have two Sanchez' up front and out wide! although in saying that Sanchez isn't an out and out striker, he just got an eye for goal this season!

I'm iffy about whether Benzema would be the right man.. going by this link - top goalscorer's in Europe as the end of the season - https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCEQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.eurotopfoot.com%2Fgb%2Fsoulierdor.php3&ei=HO9iVaGSGa-O7AaAxICoBA&usg=AFQjCNEelLYU5J4M-rM7t46c52-3IAzOBw

Lacazette of Lyon or Griezmann of Athletico Madrid have pace to burn.

Class player yes, but I'd rather see us splash big cash, £30million plus on a man who is going to score week in week out, 20+ goals a season, and will deliver in BIG games, won't go missing then score against the lesser sides... That's the missing piece for me, not enough killer instinct up front, a real poacher who is lethal in around the box in the air or on the ground.

Higuain/Jackson Martinez ??

Thanks lads, deadly bit of advice there on Sin City  8)

To fly to Vegas in the summer is mental dear, September not too bad think I'm going to go with it, plus it isn't as blisteringly hot by the looks of things! Can get flights & decent hotel - SLS or Harrah's/Monte Carlo for £650/700 in September for 11 nights, now that's not bad!! Flying out from dublin. I usually just use booking.com for the hotels and skyscanner for the flights, any other recommendations? They always throw up the best deals and are fool-proof to use!

Chose Tyrone Donegal instead, but when I looked at the stats at half time it was 0 shots on target, 0 shots taken, horrible stuff for an arsenal fan.

Listening to Brolly, O'Rourke and Spillane after the game was 10x more enjoyable than the Sunday game last night. Sunday game a bore-fest with that Des clown, I agree Whelan only one who provides decent tactical analysis. Benny Coulter offered no better of an insight into the game than a supporter.

Sure, those 3 may be hard to listen to bickering but at least they do know their stuff.

F**K F**K F**K... the same outburst I hear myself shouting at every business time of the season. Monaco.. United.. now this. Always when it matters, couldn't break down Chelsea either.

And he's put Gotze as top target? ?? Give me strength... it is a world class.. I re-iterate WORLD-CLASS striker we need who will score goals week in-week out. and a defensive midfielder.
Coquelin is good but we never had any holding midfielder for a few years there so he had nothing to measure up to. Giroud, say what you want and argue with me, he doesn't cut it.

I'm starting to sound like a record player, but a commander in defence badly needed. Adams, Keown, Dixon, Winterburn, Bould.. have none of these guys got young ones coming through lol

Looking at Vegas seriously this year..

Always wanted to do vegas but could never get it enough time off with work, July/August would be too extreme heat by the looks of it, any opinions on best time of year to go? Looking at October/November.. Want weather to still be warm enough to get a colour!  ;D

Flights aren't too bad from Dublin, can get them for under £400. As regards hotels I'll probably have to go for the MGM, "when in Rome", or New York New York. Couldn't afford Bellagio or Encore at Wynn etc but would be a dream! Likely head out to Grand Canyon for a few days and maybe a helicopter tour over it.

Anyone who's been to Thailand - can you give me the brief low-down.

2/3 lads aged 21-24. looking to head July-August.

When searching flights, where's best to fly into as there are many islands, and are they hard to get to when there?

We only have about 2 weeks max due to work,  :( For accommodation - I take it u just float about from hostel to hostel (are these of decent standard?) or are the hotels cheap enough to move about after 3/4 nights in each?

Cheers.

Going strictly only by ones that lasted 2 days or more of course!  ;)

Top 3:

1) Barcelona 2014 Stag : 13 of us, deadly city with plenty of bars and great buzz about it, weather just nice as well. Literally never sobered for the whole 3 days - worst hangover ever!

2) Monaghan town - Went to Fairyhouse Easter Sunday with no plans, ended up staying in Monaghan for 2 days on the way home! The Squealing Pig some spot.

3) In the last month - Amsterdam - Class spot, can do as much or as little as you want in terms of wildness!!  ;D ;)

Worst 2:

1) Magaluf July '14 - did not like that sh*thole at all, just the big gangs of union jack-laden english lads and the general tackiness of the whole place, we ended up heading to Santa Ponsa most nights, it was class and full of your own on the same wavelength!

2) Newcastle Paddy's day 2013 - Honestly had nothing good to say about it, thought that whole Tiger tiger area and bars a completely different crowd, limited bar choice as well.
