Absolutely nothing coming through - do they have underage teams in Kerry?

Yes, we have underage teams in Kerry. Honourable young lads who don't cheat.
Some things are more important than winning.

what about the verbal abuse some of your top players hand out to referees in every game, not good example to the young lads ???
Donaghy & Gouch worse culprits

Kerry finished Tyrone in Killarney just like we hammered them in '86 in the biggest choke in AI history. Up by 7 and lost by 8. Tyrone really shit the pants that day. I was there to see it and , oh how we laughed.

Tyrone are incapable of producing players of the calibre of Spillane, Jacko, Dara O'Se, Colm Cooper so it is understandable, I suppose, why their first priority is to produce robots whose job is to play to a system and stop the other team.

Will Tyrone ever produce players with the skills that Kerry players have ? I don't think they will. They just don't have it in them.

I am afraid Kerry themselves shit themselves in 03,05&08  ;) Tyrone never feared Kerry and that annoys Kerry people. Pat Spillane is their biggest critic,Tyrone played super football in 2005 & 2008 but never got the credit as people rather question their negative tactics.I remember Tadgh Kenneally taking Nicholas Murphy out of game in 2009 final but we never hear anything about that?
Tyrone have produced classy players in Brian McGuigan,Sean Cavanagh,Peter Canavan,Philip Jordan,Stephen O'Neill and Owen Mulligan over the years and will be remembered as great footballers

when was the last time Kerry beat a Ulster team in All Ireland final? they werent good enough to beat Armagh & Tyrone in their prime

I give up.

Of course you do, it can't be debated. As the poll here shows, everyone agrees that something needs to be done with Dublin as they've been bought sucess. The only question is what, I think it should be splitting but others have other ideas.

I think you need to get that chip off your shoulder buddy, what county are you from?

The Dubs really aren't taking the fact that they won the All Ireland on Sunday by unfair means well. Ignore me if you want, cover your eyes and block your ears but you now know the truth. It's upsetting, you may need counselling but I always think it's better for everyone to know the truth no matter how painful it is.

how you figure that out?Joe McQuillan scored 8 points for Mayo  :P

Regan: Davy's ranting will cost Clare an All-Ireland

Former Offaly hurler Daithi Regan believes Davy Fitzgerald's attitude towards match officials will end up costing Clare an All-Ireland title.

By John Fogarty
The pundit slammed the Clare manager for his post-match comments on Sunday and claimed he shouldered Cork selector Kieran Kingston during the game.

"He needs to be very careful what he says after games. He needs to be very careful about what he does on the sideline because I've heard enough people talk about passion and the drive. Well I'm having none of it. I'm sick to death of it, to be honest. He will cost this Clare team an All-Ireland final yet.

"When referees and sideline men go in at half-time for 15 minutes very simply they don't talk about the weather. They discuss what was going on.

"I watched him closely yesterday. He has a fantastic young team. Do not bring them down, pal. Because I'll tell you what, he walked by Kingston yesterday along the sideline with his hands on his hips and put his shoulder into him lightly but he put his shoulder in. Clare were leading by four points, I looked at the scoreboard and (thought) 'what are you at?'

"He berated the linesman, he berated (Brian) Gavin every time he came anywhere near him."

Speaking on Newstalk's Off The Ball last night, Regan also defended Gavin's performance. He acknowledged his fellow Offaly man made mistakes in the first-half but said he had an "impeccable" second-half.

He also hit back at Ger Loughnane who questioned Gavin's fitness on The Sunday Game, describing the former Clare manager's comments as "disgraceful" and "way out of line".

Meanwhile, Anthony Daly has been re-appointed Dublin manager for a sixth season in charge. The Clarecastle man this year led the county to their first Leinster title since 1961.

I'm afraid Daithi loves the sound of his voice, didnt he say a few weeks ago that Kilkenny hurling style is outdated? Also had a go at the Clare team under Loughnane reign. He must have forgot Offaly wouldnt won a All Ireland in 1998 if Clare hadnt agreed to a replay when ref Jimmy Cooney blew the game up 2 minutes early .

Martin should take the blinkers off when commentating on Mayo ad Donegall games.

He's too close and therefore not objective.

Carney was so bad on the commentary today.Surely RTE can get neutral co-commentator for games. Its either Carney/McStay for televised games, need neurtral co-commentator for final someone like Colm O'Rourke

On the strength & conditioning issue, what is the background of the Kildare S&C coach? I know Seanie thought so highly of her, he cited her as one of the reasons for going to Kildare.

Given that Dublin moved away from power to their current approach in late 2009, what are Kildare at with their S&C?

I would have thought Dublin just had better footballers but when you spend the kind of money Dublin do on poaching trainers DCU and even lifestyle coaches you might as while try and justify it.

I'd say McGeeney,Jason Ryan&Seanie Johnston weren't cheap

O'Brien named on the bench, niggle during the week probably cost him his starting jersey.

Good to see Cormac Costello on the bench. Gavin obviously has some trust in him despite him being injured throughout the league.

Supple, Bastick, Carty, Cullen, Devereux, Fitzsimons, McMahon, O'Gara and Rock are the other Dubs subs named

that a strong bench and still have Alan Brogan,Nolan and McManamon to come back. Is Emmet O'Conghaile still on panel?

Still has so much to offer as a player and was wanted very much by the new mgt but he felt the time was right.

Top class player since 2002 (I don't remember featuring at senior level in 2001 as per the article)

The only time I remember him getting skint was by Dessie Dolan in 2004

Very modest fella - best of luck in retirement.

he made his championship/league debut in 2002,played O'Byrne Cup in late 2011 when O'Byrne Cup used to be played before Christmas
