Yeh, just reading the Leinster there. Says it's hip injuries that are the reason. Pity as he was the only man in our forward line who could catch a ball from our puck out. Haven't seen anything close to him in that regard coming through.
It's one step forward and two steps back.

How old is Willie, he's hardly 30 yet is he?

I know it's very easy for us to say but I thought with the better set up in place and decent performances from the hurlers some of these lads would have stayed on longer. You could see how delighted Hyland was after beating Offaly in 2015.

Maybe it's a case of thinking it isn't going to get any better after Cheddar. I do hope we don't start slipping back again after what Cheddar achieved.

A fantastic story and regardless of how they get on it's been a year to remember for them. Long may it continue.

O'Dempseys like their nostalgia. Excellent piece from the National League win in 1986 with photos of newspaper clippings etc. Hard to believe we were effectively playing Div 4 football and beat the best team in the league in the quarter final. Interesting to read some of the headlines in the papers.

If you're good with greyhounds you'll get on well in Laois GAA.

I see Kelly is saying that he was convinced by Conor Gleeson to step back into intercounty hurling because he see's the potential in Laois and has praised the hard work Cheddar has done.
He also said that one of the reasons he left Offaly was due to the level of abuse he got following the defeat to Westmeath both in person and online.
In fairness that kind of abuse comes with the job nowadays, just ask the likes of Davy Fitz or any other amount of intercounty managers.

Piece from The Leinster Express about Kelly. Decent track record, hopefully it continues.

Any idea why he resigned from the Offaly job.

Will BK bring a big crowd to Parnell Park on Sunday?

Big test for them and it would be great to see them get a win and target a Leinster Final. Sometimes the first shot at it is the one where anything can happen as they are in bonus territory.

It would be great for the hurling in the county if they coud make some progress in Leinster.
