QuoteAs for Dublin hyping themselves up i do not believe there is a huge amount of belief that we will beat Kerry. I honestly believe that this years champions will be decided in the Dublin v Kerry game.

YES!!!!

Its workin lads, its workin!

Ah give over. The point Im making is that its much more expensive for people outside Dublin to get to Croke Park.

And the Dub spending 80 euro in the day on food must be heading across to the Westbury for a feed after is he?

I know Ill be in the house well after breakie, Ill get a sandwich there, and Ill be home to get a feed before heading out wuth the lads from Derry for the night. And I'm in Clondalkin which is by no means close to Croke Park.

Youve also chosen the single most expensive way to travel... taxi.

There are plenty of buses, darts, Luas, trains, etc. Many Dubs will walk. So like for like my arse.

All he's gotta do is buy them a sandwich and a coke. Sure he left well after breakfast and he'll be home for dinner!

Ahhh, but the Dub I'm referring to is a good well mannered family man bringing his two sons to the match!

Not the kn**ker on the hill pissing on the lads below him and snorting coke off the concrete!

Lads I really think the Dubs on here need to catch a grip.

It takes a damn sight more than the 5 quid on the dart that you lads have to pay for a group travelling from down the country to get to croker.

Put yourself in the place of a man bringing his two sons to see the Cork Hurlers. He's already been a tour of half the Country, Thurles, Portlaoise, and now Croker twice in a week. Plus if they decide to stay up for the football the second weekend alone could cost as much as:

3x hurling tickets 120 euro approx
3x football tickets 120 euro approx
petrol 60 euro
accomodation 200 euro
food 100 euro
drink
30 euro (He's got his kids with him!)

Thats a total of over 600 euro. add to that the previous odyssey around the country and many fans from Cork will have spent well over a 1000 euro supporting their county this year.

Take your average similar Dub next week

3 tickets 150 euro
food 20 euro
train to the match and home 20 euro MAX
Drink 20 euro

210 euro. big difference.

Personally, i live in Clondalkin currently and it'll cost me a fivers petrol and the cost of the ticket next week. In a couple weeks I'll be living in Islandbridge, and when I go to watch the Dublin Kerry semi (after Dublin overwhelm my beloved but hopelessly overmatched home county next week) it'll only cost me the match ticket cos i'll be within walking distance!

Good stuff outta Big A on The Sunday Game tonight.

"I think it may be a step too far for Derry".

He's sticking with the plan well, eh Lynchbhoy?

Can't wait for the Dublin vs Kerry Semi, should be a cracker.

Doire Abu!

Both are as bad as each other. Cheating is cheating.

Unbelievable pace and an amazing sense of what the defenders are going to do.

Just thinking, I think someone should mention the potential Dublin vs Kerry Semi-final.

In fact the more people who mention it the better... :P
