Anyone know how much a tonne of sand costs these days, approximately?

Building Sand? Plastering Sand?

To tr**p Derry into the fcukin ground. Don't worry about any other game or the championship as a whole. Just bury those inbred fcukers.

What under God have you been drinking this evening ONeill; a most uncharacteristic outburst!?

The Tyronies are like the Orange men coming up to the 12th in the week leading up to playing Derry in the Championship. Perfectly reasonable for the most of the year but likely to loss the run of themselves.

Impressive Cro.
How does the expected points tally be worked out?

From a statistical record of the results of the shots taken from that position.

Is it too early to start giving the Derry wans bad manners?

It is alright, we are more to be pitied at this stage. Have never seen expectations so low around the county team. You would think playing Tyrone would be enough to get the blood pressure raised but things seem to be at a really low ebb. Genuinely would be surprised if we get within 4/5 points. The only thing saving us from a real tanking is that Tyrone don't seem to possess a regular goal threat.

Genuine question and the answer is something I have missed somewhere but why does Harte boycott RTE. that article mentioned a stance any father would take. Did RTE say something untoward regarding the tragedy the Harte family went through?

Are you being disingenuous or have you been living under a rock?

St Pats will be kicking themselves, it shouldn't have come down to an intervention from an umpire. On the balance of the chances they should have been out of sight long before the sending off. They where dominating in most sectors of the field, Brendan's where still dangerous going forward, but stopped playing the ball in. They ended up with the wrong players taking the shots and it cost them. Some great footballers on both teams most of them already mentioned. Disappointing way for Glass to bow out.

A lot of disquiet about the Glass sending-off, I believe.

Anyone know what he was supposed to have done...obv something off the ball.  Hope it's not another "woe is me...why are yiz picking on us poor Nordies again" scenario.

Rumours of a push, certainly not a red card offence. But then, Summerhill will, with justification, say the same about the semi-final.

Have you not got over '82 yet, 5 Sams?

5 Sams is a confused fella, cant decide whether he is a Down man or a Kerry man.

Sorry for interrupting the thread with a football question, but Oakleaf, did any Donegal players stand out for you - any particularly strong performers?

Gallagher, McBrearty and Thompson.

Donegal line very slow to react to the changes Tyrone made and it cost them.

Clearly Donegal were the aggressors with 2 players getting sent off and there manager getting involved after getting beat.

I don't think its fair to link the two things in the manner you did. I wasn't an overly dirty or physical game last night and the referee called things as he seen them, a different referee and the two teams may have ended the game with 15 aside.

Bonner is a bad loser and let himself down again last night, I said on the thread regarding the minor game last year that he shouldn't be let near an underage team again and I stand over that after seeing him in action last night. However, the only thing worse than a bad loser in my opinion is a bad winner. Logan should have had a bit more cop on, took the victory and moved on. He let himself done a bit with his interview with the nodding dogs.

Oakleaf what actually happened at full time. I seen a lot of pushing & pulling but did not see how it started.

I was heading out when I heard a noise get up, turned around seen the same as yourself with Bonner in the middle of it.

How important were the 2 sendings off?  Or is it sending offs?

Would Donegal have ridden the early Tyrone storm after their goal to put them in front again?

Tyrone had got to grips with Donegal by the time the two sending offs occurred, they weren't the changing points in the game. Donegal should have been out of sight by half time but where very wasteful and it caught up with them in the second half.

The only thing worse than the pitch is the referee's performance. Absolutely shocking.

Not to rain on the St pats parade but every single report I got from Sligo people yesterday was the ref was scandalous and won the game for St Pats, with 10 mins to go he sent off our chb for what no one seems to know as at the time as he gave a free in his favour and then he black carded our best forward for the closing stages very harshly, Summerhill were better team, it was an ulster ref but tbh I don't think that matters to much as we are as likely to get shafted by a Connacht ref as we see every summer at underage level. Pity it wasn't a neutral province ref from Leinster.  Very proud of Summerhill though as by all accounts they left everything out on the field, 5 pts down early in second and to be 3pts up with a min to go and down to 14 against a team like pats is commendable just a travesty that this shit keeps happening in gaa.

The ref wasn't scandalous at all, he made mistakes as did players on both teams. Its the easy out to blame the ref when your beat. Summerhill where on top for about 15 or 20 minutes of the game which hardly makes them the better team.
