His white Englishness and association with Frank Lampard may have lulled people into assuming he was shit, but Mason Mount is very good

I think I would have been guilty of that a little. England have no shortage of good talent in that area with himself, Foden, grealish and even James Maddison.

I would say Naomi Long is the best leader in northern politics at the minute, not that it really takes a great deal of doing.

Eastwood just goes with whatever way the wind is.

Well it's no coincidence that his form has dropped since the Iceland episode and being caught on video inhaling laughing gas so aye I would say that he would.

Decent 2nd half performance. Rashford finished his goal well. Hopefully that Greenwood goal can be a kick up the arse for him and he gets some of the form from last season back. Utd really need him back to his best.

You couldn't have argued if it was given but don't think it was that obvious a mistake so probably hard for them to overturn it.

He confirmed post fight there that that's it. His victory over Santa Cruz was one of my favourite moments in boxing.

Fairly comprehensive that. Never really looked in it.

O'Neill got the job because she's a female, a box ticking exercise so SF could be seen to be progressive..John O'Dowd was the best candidate and had already deputised for McGuinness.

I've no love Sinn Fein whatsoever but the reaction of this has baffled me slightly. The DUP were outraged at the time of the funeral and were refusing to do joint press conferences and the likes but they caved and started working in a fairly co-operative executive again. Now that SF have been given the all clear by PPS they kick up a stink. Were they expecting to be able to get rid of Michelle O'Neill and the rest through prosecution and now that plan has failed they've been left with egg on their faces?

To me they've lost credibility, they should have stuck to their guns instead of hoping the PPS do the job for them.

Seen Eastwood piping up with his usual dose of sh*t but once I saw the ridiculous grey patch it's hard to take anything he says seriously.

I don't see how you can think Utd are over achieving? If they don't win the Europa League that will be 4 years without a trophy. Do you think Utd are doing well because they're coming a distant 2nd in the league?

Shambles. An absolute shambles. Don't know what McTominay was doing for that free kick!

Matic is completely done to the world. Tielemans literally passed it around him for the 2nd goal.

Car crash stuff from Fred. Got lucky after giving the ball away easily two times before the first goal. A clown of the highest order. Offers nothing, can't tackle as shown for the 2nd goal and can't do anything when he has the ball. 4 subs made and he still stays on.

All this talk about what Utd need in the summer. They need a CDM. Pogba has to play on the left because they need two dung bags to do the job of one player. See Ndidi for Leicester. Brilliant today and a more attack minded player in Tielemans beside him.

Some guts shown by France there at the end. Many a France team would have folded much earlier. They never gave up and stuck to their style of play and got the reward. Credit to them. Great game.

Stockdale must have thought he was being sent off too for that try.

Another Cheltenham over with some great stories throughout. Some week of racing for the Irish who dominated with 23 winners to GB's 5. Rachael Blackmore the star of the show with 6 winners and she really was exceptional all week. However she did pick the wrong one in the Gold Cup. Was delighted for Jack Kennedy to win on Minella Indo even though I had Al Boum backed.

Made a decent profit overall for the week mainly thanks to Sir Gerhard,Tell me something girl and Mount Ida. Wasn't really close to a winner today bar Elimay which was a heavy enough loss for me £££

Looking forward to Aintree and Punchestown now.

Appreciate It and Honeysuckle were a joy to watch. Shiskin was very good too, just disappointing that his main rival didn't make it. Appreciate It may end up wanting further when he comes up against more experienced horses.

Had a decent enough day yesterday, small profit and will cover my bets for the rest of the week. Like many others was waiting on Concertista for a decent sum and her getting pipped at the post will have saved the bookies a few quid.

Looking forward to seeing Monkfish and Chacun Pour Soi today. The opener looks a decent race as does the bumper. Gone for a Galliard Du Mesnil and Sir Gerhard double.

On another note, when the Cheltenham festival runs over St Patrick's day is one of my favourite days of the year. Hard to beat a few pints and running between the bookies. Tins at home will have to do this year.
