Signed up to that Mlife AZOffaly and booked it through there! Got it cheaper than any of those booking sites by the looks of things.. Even from looking at the website tough can't seem to understand what Mlife actually entitles you to or how it works!

What kind of coin were you looking at for 7 nights?? €800?

889 dollars! and i do believe that includes resort fees, although those websites confusing as hell with their tricks, telling you they are included but yet when you check in they will be added to the debit card you booked with.

Now to decide what factor sunscreen to wear, she's gonna be a hot one  ;D ;D

Not going to the fight tickets ridiculous, start at $450, prob just watch it somewhere, we're staying in same hotel as it I suppose.

Took a last minute headstagger to head down to the game on Saturday and take the younger brother. Apart from Donedeal, the only tickets left through ticketmaster are right behind the goals, in the corner, or else upper tier east & west side.

Coming in at 120-170 euro for me and about 50 euro for him. Any recommendations on which of these positions to take? Or possibly if anyone has or knows of tickets!

AZ I think it does yeah. http://www.lasvegasmaps.com/strip_map2014.gif

Right I'll tell you within my budget I've narrowed to these options - NY NY, Paris would be pushing the boat out £100 extra for overall stay, or else Harrah's, Linq or Monte Carlo all coming in the same price, fair bit less than Paris or NY NY.

Would the 7 days be grand for first time? Or would be worth the extra £150 or so in flights to stay for 8-10 days. 7 could be plenty but I've just always thought when flying across the Atlantic on 10hr flight (at least) it's short-ish!

Cheers for all the info, will book flights & hotel tonight. Final bit of advice  -

Can get Sun 5th-Sun 12th for £580 flights - must be a one-off. Is this enough 7 days? I don't want to take it just cause its cheap if we'd be better with 8/9/10 days max (all I can afford). But for even 1 day extra it'll cost me £700 flights..

Regards the hotels - obviously want to be centre strip close to the action, we're both in our early twenties!
I've narrowed it to - Excalibur, Harrah's, LINQ, Westin, Flamingo, Monte Carlo, could push the boat out for New York New York or Polo Towers.. but is it needed for 2 lads ?

Got a buddy last minute, gonna go to vegas to f**k.  ;D One question I'd like an opinion on from the Vegas experts on here - Is July too hot? I know its between 35-45 celsius, which seems mental! I was once in 38C in Lanzarote and thought it unbearable, no air - real sticky heat even in the shade. September etc cheaper and not as hot, but I just want to seize the moment or I'll never go!

What I'm asking is - for us paddys - Is it brutal outside i.e. you can't walk up and down the strip without having a constant river of sweat running down you, no breeze? Or could you work round it by getting up late (partying all night), staying indoors to 4/5pm and then going out to the pool? or is brutal hot at night too.   :-\ :-\

All being well gonna book it tonight, we'll go for a week/10 days between 1st-16th July. It is expensive yes - flights gonna be 6/700 , accom isnt too bad. might rent out a car when we land dependin on price. Would love to just land out and not have anywhere booked so could drive from vegas etc to places but prob get ripped off out there by hotels!

Cheers for the advice, deadly. Does it take long to get down to Koh Samui from Bangkok, and is it generally all buses or what? Flights are only reasonable into Bangkok!
I'm travelling alone and only have about 12/13 days.. so I really would want to meet other people, that's why the tour groups entice me, as I think they're for the 18-35 age.

Is 9-12 days enough or would you be rushing? My plan was to do those 3 islands and maybe back to Bangkok before I head home. Never even looked over to the west to Phuket as I don't have a clue how long it would take or how to get there!

Basically - It's too expensive to travel to the US next month, flights £700 + (I was looking at Vegas), and I don't really fancy travelling Europe, been to France, Germany, Spain Portugal etc. Plus I think or so I'm told a lot of young people travel Thailand. In saying that Croatia seems to have got very popular.

Anyone been to Thailand - specifically around the main islands - Koh Samui, Koh Pangan, and forget the name of the other  ::)

In addition, anyone any experience of Contiki Tours, Intrepid or G adventures etc along those lines.

I've time off work during the 2 week football break in July, can't get any friends to come due to work commitments, never travelled alone for more than 2/3 days so looking at Contiki's 9 day travel around the island's mentioned above.

I'd love to go for it on my own but time is limited (only a month away) and I don't have the time to start checking buses, transportation etc, especially if flying into Phuket/Bangkok from Dublin/Belfast.

Moortown V Edendork - Is Morgan fit? close one, expect them to edge it.

Omagh V Carrickmore
- will be out for revenge in some style.
Loughmacrory V Kildress - Can't go by league form, but would expect Kildress to edge this derby.

Rock V Gortin - Rock to take another scalp and build on their momentum from beating Eskra.

Dungannon V Trillick - A repeat of the intermediate final, Trillick will be out to prove a point.

Moy V Donaghmore

Clonoe V Coalisland

Strabane V Augher

Errigal Ciaran V Killyclogher - Absence of Harte and Kavanagh a right loss for errigal.

I know it's not strictly West Coast, but having drove from Lake Tahoe down to San Francisco, and then to L.A. I have to say Lake Tahoe was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. We stayed in the South of the Lake, there were a few casinos, mind you it was December so it was freezing, attempted skiing, very badly!

Has anyone been to it in the summer? Would love to go back to see it in good weather.

As for the argument on the 10/11 day stay in Vegas thing, I just don't like travelling all that way from our Emerald shores to spend 5/6 days!

But can see your point on getting sick of it possibly after a few days gambling/drinking. So I'd probably consider a flight in the middle of the 10 days to somewhere else, driving would be cheaper but everywhere is 5/6 hours away at least!

Walter, to be fair he did say before last summer he was out to get a household name or two before landing Sanchez early on.

And any time he's said he won't be buying in transfer windows, he has kept it quiet!

I don't think anyone could be in party mode as much as Wilshere - that man can enjoy himself  8) He has the look of a man that was intoxicated behind those black sunglasses yesterday! ;D

Has anyone been lately? Any regular goers every year?

Have never did it, and I'm contemplating it this summer with my father. Would be tough but at the same time good to get away from Mobile phone & any technology for a few days...

Oh and of course for the real reason of paying penance, & sacrifice!

Wenger insisting he isn't going to spend big this summer and won't be after any big names... Really disappointed to hear that.. Was hoping with £25m + on a striker and the same again on a holding midfielder with maybe an experienced keeper threw in we'd be real title challengers..

If he's going to be his old stubborn self and stick with the same squad for next season just because we finished 3rd and won the FA Cup then he's still very much deluded...

I know one thing for certain, Man City and Chelsea won't be content with a quiet summer looking for relative un-heard of names poached from Ligue One teams.
