Aghagallon beat Termon in ulster 1/4 final.  Great David McAlernon goal plus poor shooting from Termon got them home.  Warrenpoint in semi.  Tough one but sure why not?

Aghagallon beat Termon by 4 in Ballybofey.

Fundamentally any organisation such as the GAA needs to avoid the scenario where some big shot pumps money in and then wants it all their way.  County Boards are elected and entrusted with a job to do.  As a rank and file member, I wouldn't want some sponsor ruling the roost, just because he can afford to put more money in than I can.

Sponsors put money into events and teams so that their name is more recognisable and the more successful the team the better.  It just doesn't work the way Morgan thinks it should work (unless a team or event got mixed up in something unethical).

Saying as we are on the topic of translation, when I'm watching a match on tg4, commentators often use a phrase which sounds phonetically like 'hogig an counsa' (apologies).  What does that mean, crops up all the time.

I noticed frank Dawson recently at the junior and intermediate Antrim club finals and another day at a club final in another county.  Good to see him out and about.  Hope we'll see some more new faces.

Having now seen Cross up close, it'll take some team to stop them.  They look super fit, especially their forwards, when they move it fast they are some outfit.  They worked a 2 aginst 1 a few times against Pearse Og leading to goals.  Pearse Og didn't know what had hit them.  Very sharp and smart.  And I doubt for the rest of the year any team will be more physical with them, Pearse Og were in their faces to say the least and put in some great hits (and a few late ones), but still couldn't finish them off.

What a massive disappointment.  Don't know how this.works now medically but I hope they both get back on their feet soon.  They give it a go -  fair play to them.

Some of Jamie Clarke's touches were unreal, he's a class act.  Credit to Ogs for going at it hard from the start, but Cross's forwards carved them up for 3 goals and that was that - they have a lot of pace and power in their forwards.  Sorry to hear a lad got his jaw broke - but it wasn't one-sided when it came to the hard hitting on or off the ball.

Wash those apples before you eat them in case a big darkie has touched them.

Thought it was the champions league I was watching, Ardoyne did that much rolling around.

So McGourty accuses people around the Antrim set up of lacking ambition - bit rich from a man who would rather sit in the stand and watch his County play football, rather than play at the highest level himself.  All the best to Frank Dawson, don't know anything about the man but I hope he can get us back to an Ulster Final and beyond, don't see why not.

I enjoyed seeing that clip of wee Martin at the final whistle.

I think donegal will step up again in 2nd half.  Looks very hard work for mayo but give them credit for not totally collapsing.  Looks a big mistake on the sideline to not have had Cafferky in full back slot on Murphy.
