Very significant win as it now brings Celtic level with Rangers as regards major trophies won with both now standing on 118 and Rangers no longer able to boast that they're the most successful club in Scotland

Casement needs to be built to the current project specification. Talk about Clones upgrade is nonsense. Clones like almost every other county ground in the country has swathes of uncovered seating and terracing in the wettest country in Europe. These facilities are no longer acceptable.

Thought the Spurs fans were pathetically funny last night. Cheering on a Man City victory to stop Arsenal winning the league even though it also meant that they would fail to qualify for the CL. If ever there was a more suitable time for the phrase turkey's voting for Christmas

Quote from: From the Bunker on May 12, 2024, 12:54:50 AMIsrael considered the most hated country in Eurovision... yet ended up with one of the highest volume of public votes.

Your daily reminder that social media is not an accurate reflection of reality.  :-\
I'd say it's simple really, big Jewish vote came out from other countries across Europe. Absolute farce but thankfully they weren't able to corrupt the results

I find it hard to turn anyone away particularly if they've travelled a long distance. I remember one dark wet winter Sunday night a few years ago a couple of boys from magherafelt landed at my door with tickets. I took them in and made them tea. One of them told me in the course of the conversation that he worked in the civil service in Belfast and had done a half days overtime that morning. Now that's dedication to your club

That guy getting nailed to a fence by loyalist paramilitaries in Bushmills. Anyone aware of the background?

Quote from: Wildweasel74 on April 25, 2024, 10:23:57 PMAt the end of the day, the GAA want a top of the range stadia, but pay £15million to built it. Would that wash if u wanted to built a house, but only pay 1/6 of the cost to build it. They have to build whatever can be built, with the money available. They seem to miss the point that their sheer lack of due diligence, back about 10yrs ago, is the main reason we in this shit show.
I think there's a couple of points here. Firstly nobody knew that it would take so long to get the project off the ground, nobody predicted Covid and the impact it would have on inflation etc and finally be it £15m or £57m it's a hell of a lot more than the IFA or Ulster Rugby contributed to their new stadiums

Yes you are. You aren't allowed to name complainants

You can't name defendants if doing so identifies the complainants (ie sex offences committed within a family). However, if the complainants waive their right to anonymity, then the defendants can be named.

I see the boul Alasdair McDonnell has made it to Washington despite his party leader saying they weren't going. Oul Allie is always likely to be around if there's a bit of freeloading to be done. The ultimate gonbeen man
