The video clip appears to show that the final pass for the goal was as clear a throw-ball as you are liikely to see.

Sorry MR I dont think it "appears" to show "as clear a throw ball as you are likely to see".
No one even hinted that they thought it may have been a throw - not the Johnnies lads, not the Empires and not the referee (who got most other things wrong I grant you...)
Having watched it at the match and afterwards in slow mo, HD and 50" flat screen it was as clear a legal pass as I ever saw.

Well done Na Clairsigh.......not bad for a team who couldnt field just 8 months ago !

Of course you didn't see me.....I was at the Under 10s training in St. Patricks PS like every Tuesday night between 7:30 and 8:30. You are welcome to come down any night to impart some of your wisdom and maybe contribute something positive for a change. Well ?

Here wanderer........sometimes its very easy to have what you post on these discussion boards misinterpreted. Trawling through your previous posts I think you know that better than most. So I hope this is much clearer in meaning and intent than most of your ramblings..........would you ever f**k away off.

Big shout out for the Under 10s this evening lads.
Ended the season today by getting to the final of the Clann Eireann Tournament. Group victories against Naomh Brid of Belfast, St. Pauls of Lurgan were followed by a great QF win over the Ogs :) and a semi win over St. Peters. There was no fairy tale ending as the hosts beat us well in the final but as anyone who knows their underage football will tell you...there is no disgrace in losing to Clann Eireann at this level.
Good end to good year for a good wee team.

I hear that residents of Slane were phoning the Gardai and the RSPCA to report that Duffys Circus were dressing their baby elephants in lycra and training them to ride bikes........further investigation revealed it was just Stumpy

Not sure what point you are trying to make ogshead.....
Are you saying the Observer got it wrong ?
Are you saying Ivedecided is lying ?
Are you saying the Harps didn't point out the wrong scoreline to the ref ?
Or are you just trying cheap shots across the town cause you've nothing better to be at ?
Have a bit of sense will you before posting nonsense for the sake of a dig at the Harps....
You know there are others things you could be at.

It has indeed. Very long and painful as you are aware.
But Pearse Og I think you have missed the point in what I'm trying to say about how you can come across all wrong on a forum like this
...or else I've stumbled into a silly little Ogs v Harps personality spat with my eyes closed.

Jaysus Wanderer you really do get yourself into some pointless wee tiffs.

I refer you back to posting #1807 from January past on the Armagh Harps thread.

By all means enjoy the wonderful feeling of being Champions. Relish the thoroughfully well deserved and hard earned title of Club of the Year. By all means rejoice at the achievements of your fine club.
But remember magnanimity in victory. Pride often comes before a fall.

Lads
The Youth Registration Night was seriously well attended.
For example the Under 10s had 24 players register alone. Bear in mind most adults don't usually register their kids at this age until the first few weeks of training......there could be 40 - 50 Under 10s out on 14 March !

Which brings me to a really important point. The Under 10s have 2 coaches in place at the moment - Olly Houlahan and Malachy Hughes. With the numbers predicted, they need 4 or 5 in place to handle the training. The Under 12s are in a similar position.
Please think about offering sometime to these teams and if you cant, encourage some of your fellow Harps men who might.
Thanks boys.
