Change.ie are inviting all GAA Club's to enter a competition to be in with a chance to win prizes worth from €500 to €10,000, being organised by the Government's Change campaign in association with GAA/ESB Cúl Green. It's all part of the drive to encourage organisations and individuals to be more aware of their carbon number and how to reduce it.
- To get your club involved all you need to do it set up a Group for Change in your Club's name at www.change.ie and encourage as many people as possible to find their carbon number and join your club's Group.
- The GAA club with the most members in each county will receive €500 worth of sports gear/equipment for their club and will go on to represent their county in the final week of the competition with a chance to become the All Ireland CHANGE champions. The overall winner will receive a prize of €10,000 and the runner up will receive a prize of €5,000.
- To help you get as many people signed up to your group, posters to promote your group and instructions are available from info (at) change.ie
The closing date for the competition is 18th October for the first round after which County winners will be announced. There will then be a grand final on 23rd October.
