After 2 international Mens & Ladies Gaelic Football matches were shown live on Galician Language TV channel CRTVG back in March the channel is gearing up to show some club action.

The Iberian Championship Finals (The Spanish equivalent of the All-Ireland Finals) are taking place in A Coruna on Saturday, June 3rd and the Mens & Ladies finals matches will be shown live on CRTVG as well as streamed live on the channel's website.

I'll post a link to the live stream once I have it but while you wait you can get more details by clicking the link below:

Irmandinhos A Estrada from Galicia in Spain held an invitational tournament last Saturday and 2 Irish clubs; Kilbride & Moylagh sent over Mens & Ladies teams respectively. The hosts met the Irish sides in the respective finals of the tournament and had 2 amazing matches. 25 goals and 28 points scored between the 2 games. Oh and it was the Galician teams who came out victorious in both games.

Above is a short film I have made documenting my two years playing Gaelic Football in France for the Clermont Gaels team based out of Clermont-Ferrand.

The film follows the team from the European Championships in Maastricht in October 2014, all the way to the French GAA Championship Finals in Guérande in June 2015. Gain a unique behind the scenes look at what playing GAA in Europe is like and witness first hand the phenomenal growth of the sports throughout the entire continent.

Please share this video as much as you can as we are trying to raise the profile of European GAA as much as possible!

You can also help Clermont Gaels cover the huge costs of travelling to this year's European Championships in Vienna by donating to our crowdfunding page here:

If you are interested in what the level of football is like in Europe then have a look at this video of the 2015 French Intermediate Championship Final between Clermont and Lorient. The video contains the full match and is just over 30 mins long but you get to see lots of scores even in the first 6 mins!

Hello,

My name's Alan. I'm from Mayo but I've been living in Clermont-Ferrand, France for the last 2 years. I have been playing with the local Gaelic Football team here; the Clermont Gaels and I recently decided to start documenting my experiences playing GAA in France. I have set up a blog and I would really appreciate it if you could check it out and let me know what you think and if you could tell some friends about it that would be even better!

You can find my blog at the following address:

I also have a facebook page where you can find links to all my posts and updates when I'm at tournaments in France and other countries:
