Hi all my query to hurling clubs out there is when a player breaks a Hurley at a match or training session who replaces the hurl the player or club. I'm involved in a new hurling club and this is a topic of debate. My view is that the player replaces the Hurley otherwise it could financially break a club

GAA Discussion / Laochra Og Hurling Club
March 03, 2014, 02:52:17 PM
Hi all we are Cork newest Hurling Club {Laochra Og}in an area that has a strong football tradition. We have a huge catchment area to cater for which include the town of Macroom and local villages Clondrohid, Ballyvourney and Kilnamatyra. We felt that there was a need to provide hurling for children/players in the above areas instead of people having to make long round trips to get to and from the nearest hurling club. Like all clubs starting off we rely heavily on the generosity of people and local business's to survive. We are asking people out there who may be able to donate equipment such as hurleys/helmets/cones/bibs/gaa goals for kids, basically anything that maybe useful for a hurling club. For further information on Laochra Og we are on facebook and twitter. If you can help out in any way contact liam on {087}9437272. Regards and Thanks.
