Omagh CBS v St Pats Dungannon

Bookies make Omagh slight favourites in the all-Tyrone decider

does anyone have any thoughts or insights into how this might go tomorrow? Was hoping to stick in a team with Cross 8/11 and Portumna -5 tomorrow 4/9

or is this one best left to watch??

GAA Discussion / Sam Maguire / Anglo Celt
September 23, 2008, 01:41:29 PM

Bit of a sticky issue, but in a strange way, I think we could say that its harder now to win the Anglo Celt up in Ulster than it is to win Sam, even though Armagh have recently won the handiest ever Ulster title they will ever win by defeating a poor Cavan team, a Down team that simply did not show up for their S-F and a Fermanagh team that got stage fright and then couldn't kick over 21 yard frees...

With 5 teams from 8 in the All-Ireland Q-F's, although many imploded at that point, I feel that Ulster football is as strong as ever in 2008

GAA Discussion / Boylesports AI Final prices
September 23, 2008, 01:15:51 PM

Running the risk of looking a tad silly, I heard from someone that Boyles had Tyrone priced up at 15/2 outside Croker on Sunday... 7/4 in general

Did anyone else at the game see this price or even better, back them at this crazy price. You wouldn't get 15/2 on Macclesfield to beat United at Old Trafford  :o

GAA Discussion / Low scoring football
August 04, 2008, 08:29:36 AM

5 points in 70 minutes from Fermanagh was awful yesterday. 25 minutes without a score in senior championship football is hard to believe.

The forwards were terribly inept and lacking confidence in front of goal and to go out of this years competition in this fashion was an major disappointment.

Saying that, we have all heard what the pundits have been saying about the quality of the football this weekend, is the coaching and training all about fitness and strength and the ball is only being used to kick around at the end??

GAA Discussion / MAJOR ROW IN THE ARMAGH CAMP
August 01, 2008, 10:39:21 AM
Enda McNulty's absence from the Ulster Final has caused a major row amongst the Armagh ranks as it has been reported that McNulty refused to join the rest of the team for the post match meal in a Monaghan town hotel and would also not join a team photo with the Anglo Celt trophy following the refusal of manager Peter McDonnell to replace Andy Mallon with McNulty following his injury on 45 minutes in last Sunday's game. For obvious reasons, the Armagh camp has kept this one under wraps but I thought I would throw it out there...   ;D
